Actually, anthrax is much more common than most people are aware.
It is available in much of the earth's natural environment.
It is when it is altered, concentrated, and "weaponized" which makes it so dangerous to humans; as well as other creatures.

There's a lot more to weaponized anthrax than a fermenter. Anyone and his dog can culture it. Getting it to sporulate without becoming "docile" and then milling the spores without static cling or damaging a huge percentage of them, THAT'S the trick for anthrax.

What they want to do is a) die, b) become very non-lethal to humans and c) sit there in a big dirt clod. Convincing them not to, that's a trick.

There are ways to cause a lot of damage to the economy using simple biologicals, though, and it wouldn't require a big plant like that to do, either.

Nm, responded before I read the article. Could have, may be used, dual purpose...etc. I love how the MSM recycles bad guys over and over. North Korea, Iran, ISIS, North Korea, Iran, Terrorist group, and repeat...
