What was the first scientific event? How did it all start? What is the fundamental 'Fact' that started the ball rolloing and all the other 'facts' are based on?

there are so many geniuses lost to the darkness of time. but empiricism does have a start. That doesn't mean that people weren't thinking scientifically for longer. Pythagoras, as an example.

Most of the east and southeast asia is completely ignored by the west. As if there engineering was done by...It never really gets explained .

but Locke and Newton "created" the scientific method and were considered empericists.

Controlled fire or basic astronomy for navigation purposes (by land first and then by sea) and this is going back 100's of thousands of years(400ky for controlled fire by H. Erectus) for both, would be my candidates.
