Not much to say here. Posting to update those keeping an eye on the Chattanooga shooting. The wounded sailor has been identified and confirmed to have died by his stepmother.

Such a senseless death, incredibly sad. Nothing good can ever come of hate.

Thank you for plugging your own thread here even though it's only tenuously relevant, given that this thread was an update on the latest victim and not the shooting itself.

I'm just getting up and saw this. My prayers to his and the others families. Last night they wrote reporting he was in critical condition after multiple gunshot wounds.

Sad

Oh noes! Whatever shall I do without you giving my thread a star and flag?

What is this, fifth grade?

R.I.P.

Such a senseless act of violence.

A lot of the area was on lockdown when this was going on. It was crazy.

A flag and stars to make up for the fellow who won't give you one.

On topic, it's easy to kill people who don't expect someone to be firing on them for no other reason than a mentally-deficient attitude towards other religions and their adherents. Sad all around.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't these idiots kill "infidels" for 72 virgins when they get to heaven? Sheesh.

How stupid do you have to be to believe this crap?

Just read in an updated story that he was married and had three kids. He suffered three gunshot wounds.

The others killed are Lance Corporal Skip Wells, Staff Sergeant David Wyatt, Gunny Thomas Sullivan, and Sergeant Carson Holmquist.

A fifth Marine, as yet unidentified, was also wounded.
