What is your suggestion, then?

For what? "Fixing everything?"

You can't fix this system. My suggestion is to destroy it and create an entirely new one (or none at all).

What would we erect in its place?

The system we have is good on paper, it is the corruption that has over taken it that needs to be dealt with.

So maybe house cleaning instead of a destruction?

What is (SD)? Oh - Social Democrats, I see now.
????

Is that it?
Do you have a problem with people having food, housing, health care, etc.? Or a problem with stopping lobbying (a la Citizens United) and making corporations pay their fair share? With a decent wage for their employees? And not allowing a CEO of some global conglomerate to earn 300x (or more) than their front line workers?

*sigh*

Yeah.
GO BERNIE!!!!

The real question is not what I think.

I never mentioned any of your above complaints.

The question is how Bernie is going to get enough Congressional support to achieve the goals

back to ya
*sigh*

I suggest that we stop all this separation of Americans and work together.no more KKK, no more LaRaza, no more NAACP/black caucus and become Americans again. This bull about Hispanic Americans, african Americans (although the personally couldn't find Africa on a map) white Americans, it all make me sick! A house decided can not stand, and we won't. a reply to: BuzzyWigs

Love your message of unity with a statement like this directed at one particular set of people.

I guess Nth was right, there is some racial division going on here.

So, you didn't read the article, then. Or even the whole OP.
Sanders is the one talking about stopping the divisiveness.

Last but not least, think of a nation where every person in this country—no matter their race, no matter their country of origin, no matter their religion, no matter their disability, no matter their sexual orientation—that all come together, to create the greatest country that anyone has even seen; a country that works for all of our people, and we do it when we stand together, and we do not allow people to divide us, divide us, divide us. (applause)

See the link in the OP.

Why do we have to replace it with anything?

Why should we replace it with anything? All known modes of governance have been tried, and they are all abject failures in ensuring and protecting human liberty.

Why replace one oppressive institution with another?

So we can have these same arguments again and again and again?

That question has been asked about many presidents. IMO we should never elect a president based on who would support them in congress instead we should get rid of those in congress that don't support the president if that problem should arise.

True.

But how would that be achieved on a national level?

It would take billion$ to make a universal campaign successful.

Who has the capacity to lead that kind of effort?

In the end, it all comes down to who has enough money to manipulate the most people.

Capitalist, socialist, Republican, Democrat. It doesn't matter. The perceived ideological differences between them all are irrelevant.

Money rules the day--even in a Sanders presidency, as much as you all refuse to believe that.

How times will we have to dance this dance? How many times will you hold up a political messiah and scream, "Here it is!", only to be completely disappointed and left feeling violated?

Has anarchism been shown to work?

Because that would be what you are describing no?

A lot of people have been supporting Sanders and he seems to have a clear picture in his head of what he wants and the will to get there. A lot of my friends who support Hillary Clinton support Bernie Sanders more.

What will happen between now and the election? Will there be a scandal? Will he die of a heart attack? Even though he seems like he could win the election, I don't think some people want him to get the chance to be voted on.

It seemed to work for the first few tens of thousands of years (give or take, maybe for much longer) of modern human social organization. We lived in a much more egalitarian world and in much greater harmony with our environment.

State governance is a relatively recent introduction, and in no time at all it has managed to f# literally everything up.

HAHAHA... It seems you wish to return to the stone age.

I am sure there are a few secluded places in the world where you can go pound rocks, but there is no reason for you to try and drag us along with you.
