What do you think Obama should do?

Oh, I dunno...
Lead? I understand it's a tough job, but he did ask for it, afterall. I think it's fair to expect the man to act presidential and do presidential stuff, like, well, leading.

Thanks for being so specific, and keep in mind I am no fan of Obummer.

a reply to: Violater1 It is being investigated as an act of domestic terrorism. I am not sure what your complaints are?

...and we have a winner!!! Who had 'Domestic Terrorism'?

Well, it DID happen on our soil, so I guess in the Obama Administration's view, it is domestic.

...just more padding for the statistical numbers...

And then, of course, every time they talk about "domestic terrorists" and how they are the more dangerous threat, they mention right wing militias, the TEA Party, and Christian fundamentalists.

And people, some of them on this very thread, parrot that and defend people like this guy, whom they are now pointing out proudly, is being investigated as a "domestic terrorist."

It begs the question, if the domestic terrorist numbers are so high, why is that? Is it really because of all those radical right wingers they keep telling you about but you almost never see publicized or is it more because of this guy and others like him, since this makes it clear they are investigated under the same label?

I got you ketsuko I ask the same question too, but like I been telling over and over we most blame the patriot act for this, after all calling anything in America link to acts of violence "domestic terrorism" served very well in case more laws and bills were to be redacted and enacted to screw the American population.

Are you being funny?

Was it even labelled terrorism in the 40s???

If not, then that's clearly a red herring.

"The first use in English of the term 'terrorism' occurred during the French Revolution's Reign of Terror, when the Jacobins, who ruled the revolutionary state, employed violence, including mass executions by guillotine, to compel obedience to the state and intimidate regime enemies"Source

Perhaps I'm wrong, but ATS does not consider wikipedia as a valid source.

Yes, it does.

Are you taking cues from the white house? Like most things you have said here, just because you say it, doesn't make it so.

why does it matter the guy was Muslim??

like, why if the guy is Muslim do you and most people and the media focus on his religion, but like a white christian is just some a-hole with a gun? like religion isn't the same as race.. you are aware of that right?

like, for all he knew he was killing white Muslims in the Army??

Prejudiced getting in the way much?

is the issue here not... once again some other Guy easily got a hold of a gun and shot people because a country (im not judging this just stating fact, not even my opinion) which allows weapons to be bought freely and stands for free speech and beliefs cant manage people having radical beliefs and shooting people you simply CANT do it its like having your cake and eating it.

American Dream works two ways..

There is one organisation out there that encourages, pressures and even pays for terrorist plots and that arms 92 per cent of Jihadi operations.

IT IS CALLED THE FBI.

This entire post shows why we are #ed up in the entire world. And no, it's not because of muslims or communists or jews or christians or whatever, it's because of people like the op and most of the people who starred it. You legitimize the genocides of your countries.
I bet that 70 years of mindless aggression gave to some of you the idea that you are entitled to start a war whenever somebody of [insert the scapegoat of the moment] did something wrong that would be condemned by every sane individual no matter what faith.

This might even be an act of war, but most probably not by who you think.

More possibilities that this was a calculated agenda....

U.S. authorities investigate suspected Tenn. shooter's travel to Middle East

U.S. authorities are investigating the suspected Chattanooga shooter's travel to the Middle East, including at least one trip Jordan and a possible visit to Yemen, a U.S. source close to the investigation said on Friday.

Mohammod Youssuf Abdulazeez, identified as the shooter by the FBI, was shot to death in a rampage Thursday that killed four Marines.

Investigators are trying to determine whether the suspect had any contact with militants or militant groups, but at this point have no evidence that he did, the source told Reuters.

You don't have to show this at least some of us knows that this terrorist act against military target was deliberated orchestrated and behind agendas, some people just wants to act blind and deft.

One act at a time, to erode Americas confidence and security in their own soil

Actually it's called the GIP.

From Saudi Arabia, that is best buds with Kuwait, and their 'friends' in Syria, and Iraq.

AKA Al Queda who changed their names to 'ISIS'.

AKA Wahabbist's from the land of Saudi.

If he was a true Muslim extremist then why did he use guns instead of bombs? A car bomb and suicide vest would have done much more damage. His actions look to be very American and not very Islamic. Mass shootings is what America is experiencing more and more these days while in the Middle East bombings are what they are going through.

So, he's a domestic terrorist, if you wanna label him a terrorist. He's akin to all the other losers who murdered unarmed innocent people.

Again, a peaceful murdering muslim kills USA soldiers, on USA soil. Just like Fort Hood, near Killeen, Texas, Nidal Malik Hasan, a U.S. Army major and psychiatrist, fatally shot 13 people and injured more than 30 others. Now we have an American university trained, muslim electrical engineer, opening fire on unarmed Marines in two, yes, two separate areas, killing 4, and injuring several US citizens. Will obama call this another work place act of violence? He promises an investigation. Will it be just like another Benghazi through investigation? I know, I know, the obamabots will come in and spew their loving Bravo Sierra for their beloved socialist, but people, this has got to stop!
p.s. I know of the news OP. ATS allows a news OP and a separate forum OP.

boy, you have all the right-wing lingo down pat...by the way, it's being called terrorism and both the FBI and justice department are investigating it as terrorism, NOT workplace violence....but, I don't want to get in your way of liberal bashing nonsense.

Gotta be looney tunes to gun people down in the first place.

So what looney meds should you be prescribed seeing how you glorify holding a smoking gun in a raunchy outfit as an avatar? Let me guess, you're probably a 15 year old pimply boy in real life?
