President Obama apparently referred to this incident as a shooting.
I will be surprised if I hear the words 'Islamic terrorist' come out of his mouth in reference to the shooter.

Ok I just used an iPad and the timestamp for the WRCB tweet is 8:16am.

I'll post a screenshot now brb.

My phone app for Twitter gives London timestamps....

The official website when not logged in gives U.S times.

Thanks Shamrock for the last post.
It was only a matter of time before someone else noticed.

MM just posted an update. Fox is walking it back now, saying "we don't know what time zone that was from but (paraphrasing) there's totally IS Twitter accounts talking about this so maybe the time was wrong but it's cool because we were like half right. Maybe a quarter right. Ish."

No problem mate

Even if that tweet was after the shooting, it is scary! It is said so simply, yet is a serious threat of more to come.

And of course they could find a picture of him holding an ISIL flag and hugging a radical imam with known ISIL ties and ATS members would still refuse to accept it.

Only after this...

We can agree to disagree and stop the debate you didn't want to have though.

I saw a website, it says that Twitter uses GMT but it's not possible for the tweet I'm posting because that would have made it 4am in Chattanooga...

So the time zone stamps are throwing us through a loop at the moment.

I didn't mean to make such a big deal out of it...
It changes nothing really.

A fanatic still just murdered 4 people, he's still dead and unable to answer questions.
It's pretty trivial in the grand scheme of things.

Blame the many for the actions of the few right?

That is the premise for gun control.

Works both ways.

Very true and I didn't mean to make this a Twitter fest, it seemed pertinent at the time, not so much now.

You have my attention. Also at one point, the guy drove from the recruiting center to the navy reserves .... 15 mile in three minutes. But I think that was just the FBI lead investigators misquote on the distance and time driven. Which I think worked out to 3 miles a minute.....

Hmmm... I'll keep checking in.

And how many times have you said it shouldn't happen?

Are you willing to extend that to this case?

Has the shooter been linked to Kuwaiti government yet?

I always knew kuwait was suspect.

See I did wonder if the initial tweet was for the initial shots fired...
Before the murders...

And then the fatal attack happened 15 minutes after the ISIS warning...

It's a little confusing because of the early conflicting reports.

Yes, I understand the time differential.
Please forgive me, I'm Twitter illiterate, thus the need for an explanation. The picture I saw posted in above link had the time of 10:34. Am I wrong in assuming that the time of the tweet is local time for the person tweeting? If that isn't the case, what determines which time zone is used?
Again, I'm trying to understand, not argue. If my assumption is wrong, just say so. I have no connection to these social networks.

I think it was a misspoken comment. I thought I saw that it was about 6-7 miles between the two locations.

hotair.com...

Also, if you scroll down a bit they have the shooter's senior picture. I have no idea if it's legit or not, but I found it....interesting.

To be honest diggin, that's what I've been trying to work out...

From what my London timestamps said on each tweet, the news tweet would have been at 10:16...

I'm guessing this was a report of the initial shots fired before the gunman drove off to another spot...

Between that first tweet and the confirmation of casualties was the ISIS warning, approximately 20 minutes after the news tweet, but 15 mins before the reporting of casualties...

The ISIS Twitter has been deleted/reported and shut down since I saw the tweet.

But the above is the best I can surmise from the timeline of events.

It's already officially acknowledged as domestic terrorism, what more do you need, the guy lived in America, what can the President do or say? adding anything else is sub judice.

Charlie/Shamrock. I giving it to media for jumping all over this real fast. So naturally information is not perfect/correct.

Originally the 2 shooting location took place 20 minutes apart. Discrepancies in reporting happen.

Charlie presents the O.J. Simpson verdict scenario( England reported guilty first)or building 7 still stand yet gone scenario.....

Social media time stamp captures.. fox business reporting the name of the shooter way earlier, then removing it. Yep. I saw it too.

this happening before the end of Ramadan. I thought there was a rule for that.
Kuwait? We stepped in for them in the first gulf war.

Hmmm. Regardless people died.

And I'm still seeing tweet after tweet about Hillary Clinton..... Chattanooga is nearly a spec!

If the dude was yelling Allah Akbar, I want to hear Obama call a spade a spade.
I am not looking for much.
Remember the Ft. Hood shootings?
Obama looked at that as 'workplace violence'. The shooter was Islamic and shouted Allah Akbar during the killings.
