The mayor of Kansas City, Kansas, in an address to the radical socialist organization National Council of La Raza, bragged that his city is no longer majority white and the city’s schools now have students who speak 62 different languages.

At least he's not blaming white people for everything wrong
with the city or blaming white flight. That is a step in the right direction.

What he actually said.

And I see no braggadocious attitude in his words.

I care about KCK because it is my "family" home. But it has been in decline, really badly over the past 20 years.
I still have one family member there that we care deeply for and worry about her living in such a high crime area.

Teddy Roosevelt knew the deal:

A hundred years ago, President Teddy Roosevelt said, "The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, of preventing all possibility of its continuing as a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities."

Following that wisdom, the USA immigrated 175,000 people annually from compatible countries from 1924 through 1964. They assimilated by speaking English and became a part of our fabric of life. They met the criteria for religion, culture and similarities with America.

It's just a stupid speech. I didn't even know there were 62 languages in existence, and furthermore, how in the world do teachers possibly adequately teach children when they don't speak the same language.

Also, he's proud to have a city that takes in people "who are not welcome in other places." Why are they not welcomed elsewhere? Who are they?

Just a really silly speech saying that things are pretty chaotic in Kansas City, Kansas.

The Democrats have done a great job taking care of
Kansas City Kansas haven't they?
The mayor in the video on the link brags about
how the Democrats have ruled KCK for a long time.

The city appears to function like every other city
under Democrat rule
for an extended period of time.

However, I for one am shocked and really glad
that the mayor is happy about white flight
and not blaming white people for the city's problems.
That is really a good thing in my opinion.

Instead of complaining that the minorities moving in are "ruining the neighborhood", why don't we talk about what we can do to help build up those poorer communities? Multiculturalism is great. Poverty sucks. Remember, people in poverty tend to have more abortions. Don't we care about the babies?

Multiculturalism is great.

I'm not complaining about "the neighborhood",
just stating a fact,
my relative is not safe in the neighborhood.
A simple fact.
All neighborhoods decline,
but the "family" home base has declined to the point
where it is not safe to even live there anymore.
It was once on the farming outskirts of Kansas City Kansas,
(a very early subdivision)
but is now full on in the city,
close to abandoned strip malls and malls.
An area in extreme decay. Just a fact.

The poverty, violence, and homicide rates
are a function of a city long run by Democrats
and entrenched in liberal and socialist policies,
in my opinion.
(in the video on the link the Mayor said that
the city has been ruled entirely by Democrats
for many years)

And I should know since it is my "family"
home base, or was my family home base,
with only one extremely old family member left.
We have begged the family member to move,
but to no avail. The family member has lived
there an entire lifetime.

Actually I am glad, really glad, that the mayor
did not do the usual Dem thing and blame
white people for all their troubles
because the white people left the city.

It's refreshing to hear someone be happy
about white's leaving the community, rather
than complaining that they are abandoning
the community.

And saying that most whites have left the neighborhood is saying that minorities are the cause of the problems in the neighborhood. You can try to talk around that all you want, but it's pretty obvious what you are implying. You are saying that minorities are the problem.

And you don't like social programs. Got it. In that case, I would think you would be all for abortions happening in that neighborhood. Less babies means less criminals, which means less crime and homicides, which means the neighborhood is safer, which means more of those beautiful white people can move back in, which means your relative is safe!

A fact is far different than complaining.
The crime rate statistics are not complaints they are fact.

Most whites left because of the policies
of the city which has ruined the city,
a city long run by Democrats using
liberal and socialist policies that destroyed

using Democrat policies.)

I'm not saying minorities are the problem,
Democratic politicians are the problem.

The reason for all the recent minorities and languages is that the
Democratic Mayor invited as many "illegal" aliens
from Obama's resettlement program to KCK
as possible. Read the article.
These people arrived in poverty and with
a severe lack of jobs in KCK
(see one of the links above)
will remain in poverty,
which we all know increases crime levels.

Again, I am just glad that the Mayor
did not blame it on white people
and was happy that the white people left,
and did not blame KCK's problems on
white flight. It is a good thing.

Not really getting you. It's unfortunate that we live in a world of different ethnicities and cultures. If only we were all one ethnicity and one culture, we'd all probably get along great!

That said...we are not! And the fact that suddenly we are all supposed to pretend we are all the same, when we were not raised the same is infuriating!

It's not everyday people creating division, It's governments that are doing that!

If you think about centuries past, different cultures lived separately but traded with each other. Commerce worked and so did like cultures living amongst each other. Now we are told that is a crime.

Would you marry a person you have nothing in common with and culturally not be compatible with? Why then must we all do this in our cities?
