A question for my fellow folically chalenged compatriots

I've seen electric razors designed specifically for the scalp. Has anyone here tried them? Are they worth the money?
Do they give just as good a shave on the noggin as a regular razor and shaving cream?

I'm always a bit hesitant about spending money on things like this without some feedback. I don't trust reviews on products websites as I feel they're swayed by the companies selling these products.

What's your experiences and thoughts, any input would be appreciated.

Veet is the best thing for a balding head...it polishes it also.
Also you only have to shave every 3 weeks if put on the face.

An electric razor will not get the really fine fuzz. Therefore I use a razor. I do not like chemicals either.

A razor is by far better. The best in my opinion is a gillette mach 3. There is an art to shaving your own head, especially the back and around the ears.

Hair. It falls off gentlemen and has to be scraped off pigs.

I use a Gillette fusion right now, I like the closeness it gives.

I have three Nubian slaves who do that!

In fact, I shave my face once every six weeks and at the same time use a number one to reduce my head. Will probably try Veet next time.

Well, for anything else, not even an expensive electric shaver has ever gotten as close as a blade for me. My preference is a gillette mach 3 as well.
