I know many a graphic designer who wouldn't know the difference between a group of American Soldiers and a photo of the M*A*S*H cast.

I guarantee this was just an ignorant mistake by the person who designed it. An intern probably didn't post it, but it's not a stretch to think an intern would create such a simple design.

But, it's election season, so why not blow things out of proportion?

Someone who says things like "I love Mexicans" doesn't sound very racist at all... he probably is not a racist, and he didn't say anything racist when he said that he believed illegal immigrants commit crimes at a higher rate than legal immigrants.

This was a foul up by an intern. What it proves however is the sorry state our educational system that a graduate from a university cannot tell the difference between historical soldiers and modern day soldiers.
