we live in a society that should protect the weak unless they be religious

Unless they're unborn. Then we, well, you know.

WWJT? He seems like a decent guy, so I'd say he's a %15-%20' tipper.

... or when someone is desperate and takes the scripture literally.

I have no doubt He provides, but you have to take matters into your own hands at the same time. Simply going to restaurant and trying to dine and dash isn't what He meant. This is what food pantries and other assistance orgs are for.

HAHA I can see her point.

She stole the food so jesus will foot the bill for her sin.

silly christians

It's written in the Bible. Why shouldn't she take it literally? The real question is "Why didn't Jesus take care of this lady's meal ticket?" Can she be accused of a lack of faith? I don't think so.

Matthew 6:25
"For this reason I say to you, do not be worried about your life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? 26"Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they? 27"And who of you by being worried can add a single hour to his life?

John 14:13-14
“In solemn truth I tell you, anyone believing in me shall do the same miracles I have done, and even greater ones, because I am going to be with the Father. You can ask him for anything, using my name, and I will do it, for this will bring praise to the Father because of what I, the Son, will do for you. 14 Yes, ask anything, using my name, and I will do it!

She can be accused of not connecting appropriately with reality.

In a universe where the Law of Causation is ever present, her religious delusion has no real place.

Doesn't seem to be all that uncommon among the extremely religious. Maybe Jesus didn't pay this woman's tab, for her faith, but he did cause storms, earthquakes and droughts because of gay marriage and abortion.

Not to mention sending his spokespeople to protest funerals and whatnot.
