With the deal that had just been concluded between Iran and US (with its western allies), is President Obama unknowingly fulfilling the long awaited prophecy written at 2 Thessalonians 5:3?
Namely the "Peace and Security" prophecy?
To quote the Scriptures:
[1Th 5:3 KJV] 3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape."
What say you ATS?

It can happen over and over as history repeats itself.
Neville Chamberlain now Obama.
...In our time, the risk is that nuclear weapons will spread to more and more countries, particularly in the Middle East, the most volatile region in our world.
This deal demonstrates that American diplomacy can bring about real and meaningful change, change that makes our country and the world safer and more secure.
Difference is that - NOW we're dealing with WWIII - Nuclear War.
The very existence of the human civilization is at stake.

Looking at what the attitude of the world right now, it's very obvious the world body is tired of war and have been beating the drum beat of "give peace a chance". I think this event marks a pivotal moment in world history when people will think NOW is the time to pursue "peace and security".
Per my research, next in the agenda - pressure Israel to accept this deal for the sake of peace in the region.
Once this is done, they will pivot (as the report say) to Syria and deal with ISIS once and for all.
The ball is now rolling.

That is not a prophecy. You are reading into it just as you are reading into President Obama with your religious agenda.Nothing in the scriptures is a "prophecy" of the end times because there is no such thing as the end times. It is all a made up doom porn fantasy in the religious mind of man.Paul saw it in people in his day that were gossipers and rumor mongers.
You are doing exactly what Paul was trying to quell in the Thessalonians that were in fear of the "coming of the Day of the Lord!!"...' lions and tigers and bears OH MY!!.Paul had to deal them all the time.Yahoshua even warned the disciples about it and John also wrote of calling them "antichrists".
"Do not be deceived for MANY will come in my name and say they are christ and will deceive man".
..and that is exactly what happened a few short years later...Christianity was born however the disciples nor Yahoshua started it... not even Paul did!.... Christians did.The disciples constantly struggled against Christianity especially Paul since they twisted what he said the most. This has continued to this day and is even more so because there are approximately 2 billion professed "Christians" (with 40,00 different sects) who say they come in Jesus name!
THAT is the prophecy that has gone unheard because Christianity will NEVER believe THEY are the "antichrist" John and Yahoshua spoke of.The Day of the Lord is the revealing(apocalypse) of the Truth of the creator God to a person. It will overtake MANY that believe in the peace and safety that they already know God but the fact is they only believe in their religion and have made their God in their own image.

It would be more meaningful, if we could read what the this agreement states. Maybe our senators will read this agreement before we sign on to it !
As the American people and Congress review the deal it will be important to consider the alternative. Consider what happens in a world without this deal. Without this deal, there is no scenario where the world joins us in sanctioning Iran until it completely dismantles its nuclear program. Nothing we know about the Iranian government suggests that it would simply capitulate under that kind of pressure and the world would not support an effort to permanently sanction Iran into submission.
...History shows that America must lead, not just with our might, but with our principles. It shows we are stronger, not when we are alone, but when we bring the world together. Today’s announcement marks one more chapter in this pursuit of a safer and more helpful, more hopeful world.

No, Obama is all about working for peace but preparing for war.
The return to ties with Cuba removes the only non US ally in the Caribbean. Now with exceptions of states that can barely run themselves like Bolivia, Ecuador, Venezuela and Nicaragua the entire Western Hemisphere either an ally by treaty or a close friend.
In Europe the break between Europe and the US is gone. NATO is more united than ever, Sweden and Finland have become unofficial members. And the states that are not neutral are trying to join. Russia is in economic decline and its military is in the worst shape it has been in since before WW2.
In Africa the US has expanded its influence massively. US or French troops are operation and training in almost every country. The African Union and NATO have signed a series of cooperation agreements and NATO and AU navies now train and operate side by side.
In the Middle East the US letting Arabs fight Arab wars. It gives them training and air support but, avoids the mistake of sending in Western troops which would be a recruiting bonanza for ISIS and end up with half the people fighting them changing sides. And like the AU the US has found a new proxy in new US backed Arab League force. And while preparing and storing bunker busted bombs the US concluded a treaty with Iran. And for Iran no doubt the idea of Arab Forces pouring into Iran transported by the US and backed by US air, drone and missile strikes played no small role in making them go along with the treaty. Even though the ruling party of Iran knows the Iran of today is dead, as Western money and influence will now flood the country. Still better than a Sunni occupation.
In the Pacific the US has become a part of the trilateral with India and Japan to contain China and added Vietnam and Burma to the long list of traditional allies already in the region.
While nobody noticed the US has solidified its global influence to a degree never seen before. The US has been preparing for war if it comes. And because of that many of ots enemies see little choice but to talk peace.

WHY do you people not want peace and cooperation???
WHY?????!!!
Hence it's a false flag - to fool everyone that man can bring "real peace and security" while they can't.
It's beyond human control. No human can remove the Nuclear weapons from this world. No one can.

If anything to me, peace and safety evokes a sense of complacency more than actual words. It sounds to me like when people least expect to be attacked, then the attack will come. Depending on where you go and whom you read, it could refer to any number of peoples, places and events, and it might even refer to an event that takes place long after the Trib itself.
The prophecy speaks of people saying "we want peace, we want peace and cooperation" but then it followed it with "sudden destruction".
Yes, that's exactly what I'm thinking. It's a false flag. It is meant to fool everyone into thinking that we're on a verge of solving our greatest problems - peace and cooperation or peace and safety or peace and security for the world. Then out from nowhere "BOOM"!

"No one" can?
You're being ridiculous.
Of course humans can.
It just takes cooperation, and diplomacy.
