I think the problem here is that he has supporters.

What if it's a Republican plot to make it look like Donald Trump is a Democratic plot to make GOP look stupid to make the Democrats look stupid instead?

Bet none of you thought of that, huh?

With Trump, you never know for sure...

Political party

Republican (Before 1999; 2009–11; 2012–present)

Reform Party (1999–2001)

Democratic (2001–09)

Independent (2011–12)

Trump the Party jumper

I, for one would have a serious problem with anyone who was not a "party Jumper"! I would want someone who runs on what is right not some two party BS which rarely even gets it half right.

Party affiliation is a bane to US sovereignty.

Status quo is the gold standard for human primates... it will continue as the man monkeys in the US bring up a Clinton/Bush monarchy, since obviously the best qualified people among 350 million people can only come from two elite families of politicians purely by chance.

I have to agree with you, there is no plot needed to achieve this. They do just fine on their own.

Lol, none of them appear too smart.
Like the saying goes from..Twain I think? "better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than to open it and remove all doubt"

He makes Democrats look pretty stupid as well. But most of us know that both parties are ridiculous in their own ways and are basically working together to screw we the people anyway.

I'm enjoying the Trump dog and pony show much more than I have any recent elections and much more than I'm sure I will watching the dud GOP candidate run against the dud that is Hillary.

Of course Trump is a party jumper - he is a businessman first. Most of his "major" businesses were in New York (Trump Towers) and Atlantic City (Trump Plaza, Trump Marina, Trump Taj Mahal). All of his casino employees are unionized, and any large scale commercial construction has to be done through the building trade unions, whose leaders are traditionally Democrats. You won't be able to negotiate good contracts without playing the game, and Trump is real good at playing the game.

Although, the whole conspiracy angle might have some weight, as the gaffs keep coming. Something about tweeting a campaign promo with his face imposed over an American flag, with soldiers marching near the bottom of the flag... only those soldiers were wearing Waffen SS uniforms.here

FYI when a politician opens their mouth they make themselves look stupid. Partisanship makes no difference.

I agree with you that no one needs help looking stupid. And I frankly like to hear Donald talk. He's funnier than hell! He's not a Democrat or working for them. He'd make a terrible joke of the presidency.

Not as bad a hillary would or how much of a joke Obama has made us look like to Putin and China

I agree. Obama has been terrible. He's made our country a laughing stock. Hillary will be much worse. If it came down to Trump and Hillary, trump gets my vote, hands down.

I think thy both are two sides of the same coin. Its Hillary this time, no different from Obama or Bush. The policies of the US are "forward".

So why not flood the race with too many candidates and divide the GOP up into so many slices the people can't unify and get behind any one of them…

Trump just takes the cake.

Mission accomplished? Change we can believe in? Forrrward?

There has been no change in direction overall no matter who is in the whitehouse.

The Gormless Old Phallocentrics are indeed gormless, old and phallocentric; as their title implies.

Trump is a cashed up chump who, if anything, compliments GOP; as distinct from embarrassing it.

Problem is lots of these young people have no clue. I can see it how.

Trump: Make this pic to post.
Intern: OK
Intern: Umm He wants army men on the bottom. Let me Google "army men"
A couple minutes latter: Great pic of army men marching... YEA (clip - paste- print)
Trump: Why the h*** did us use SS pictures?
Intern: Uh.. What are SS?....

I agree.

Looked at post by Hillary that called out Trumps "tone" on the border.

Trump reply: That the problem. Current politicians are worried about the "tone" of talking about the problem and no fixing the problem.

I'm torn between Trump and Ben Carson on who I like.
Both have issues with winning.

Trump has the problem that he is a straight shooter that does not compromise. This ruffles the Presses feathers and the established politicians. He rocks the boat.

Ben Carson: Does not have backing or the money to make it work.

They both have good thing about them also.

First they are both NOT lifetime politicians. The Founding Father never intended that the leaders become full time politicians more interested in keeping their "jobs" then working the country. We could go a whole thread on why this has happened, but...

Trump: Very successful businessman.
Using PRIMARY his own money. Yes he has a PAC, but does he need it? I think he is more then happy to use the money, but it is more of a campaign thing then a true funding source.
He is straight forward in his stance on things.
He is hitting issues that people have been complaining about for some years.
Leaning towards border security, economics and rebuilding the military.

Carson: World respected Pediatric Neurosurgeon.
Arguably more intelligent then any of the current politicians.
He is straight forward in his stance on things, but does have to "tone" his answers to be able to gain the support he needs.
Leaning towards fixing health care, economics.

They both seem to care about the future of the US and have ideas that could help us.

Trump has a vision to restore what most people think is nearly lost. A means to make a living, and getting the government off your back. In addition, like Mayor Bloomberg, he is beholden to no one, for he has established power (wealth, experience, and name recognition). Thus, he can SPEAK THE TRUTH!

Everyone in the presidential race, except Red Bernie, is running scared. They're going to do their best to destroy him... By any means possible.

The GOP looks perfectly like the other side of a corporate oligarchy coin on their own. I so don't care about any of these candidates.

How perceptive of Cuebela. Although truth be told the current slate of Republican candidates aren't exactly reminding anyone of Abraham Lincoln or Dwight Eisenhower.
