So we have a rock, that's attached to another rock, forming a cross? Cool rock!


Not that interesting huh? Not for me either but it's there in all it's cross glory on Mars nevertheless.

Great finds! the skeleton looks like there might be some old foundation left over from a dwelling around the body

Whatever happen to the pyramid they found? Was it a hoax or a odd rock or was it really a pyramid and they just swept the story under the rug?

Before you mentioned cross, I saw buildings, lol. Just goes to show you how the mind can create different images out of inanimate objects.

I love these threads. It always turns into a bunch of grown adults looking at piles of rocks while fighting and name calling over what the pile looks like. The skeleton photo is quite interesting.

Again I state without reservation that was a sex stone .

Not rock, frost on rock. Theres more white stuff on the rock in the foreground, see it… see it?

But as far as imagining stuff, I see the skeleton of a Martian soldier fallen on the bit of roadway (where he lies), the blasted wall with shrapnel holes in the background… Obviously.

The flesh has decayed from the bones from time, the elements and all the critters that ate it.

Me too. The landscape on mars is fascinating, I'd never forfeit an excuse to observe it. Whether it's remnants of ancient civilizations or just natural abnormalities. It just amazes me that I could head to the centre of Australia, take a picture and say it was mars and no one would even question it.

When a planet 220 million kms away looks identical to parts of earth, it just really makes you ponder the questions, who are we? What does it all mean? What else is out there?

It is the Grim Reaper himself... in a rock.

Could be Jesus' skeleton...he dropped off the cross because it was too much to bear, then fell from exhaustion and died.

In the second picture, all the shadows point one way. At the top of the picture is a shadow of what i assume is supposed to be the rover?

Unless the Rovers were taking pictures close to each other, how did they get that shot?
