Right upfront I'd like to apologize for the lack of details. Many years ago I saw a clip/trailer online for a post-apocalypse/nuclear war movie. In the clip a person is seen walking through what looked like the rubble of a city. The person was wearing a gas mask and comes across a water source. They fill a container with water, take a deep breath, then lift their mask and drink before putting the mask back on. It was all in black and white and really intrigued me. Unfortunately, I forgot to make a note of the name or bookmark the page before closing the browser. I've been trying to find it ever since with no luck. I know it's a long shot but I thought maybe someone here will recognize it. Thanks in advance.

Is it this movie? It's black and white and he is wearing a gas mask of sorts in the end of the trailer?
Pretty sure this is what you saw and just remembered it different?

Looks like a cool movie too.

Okie dokie, that sounds like a good movie. Can you remember if it was an American movie or British, or what? You said it was a black and white trailer. Did it have anyone talking in it? What was their accent?

I've looked at several post apocalyptic movies in black and white, so far no luck. Now I really need to know too.

My guess is Stalker. Very underrated movie. Incredible. If it's not the one you are thinking of, I'd recommend it anyway.

I know. I've been digging since I found this thread. I've lost count of the trailers I've watched and none fit the description. I hate to say it but I'm at a loss.

Like I said he might be confused on the dates and the trailer i posted is for a movie that has still not been released and has been "In project" for a few years before 2014. Give me a break with the trolling ok? Seriously why are 15'ners such trolls?
And it appears this is just a "hit and run" post, doubt the OP even comes back?

I like that film genre, and came up with "Connected", a short Danish post-apocalyptic film, and "Day 26" (Tag 26 in German). The latter featured a promo short in B&W featuring the main character in a gas mask.

Well, the OP states the trailer clip was seen online. That would have meant on win XP most likely, which would put the date he/she SAW the trailer in this century, the last 15 years or so.

But the trailer was in black and white....so....hmm....could have been a trailer for an earlier movie, then. Or one made in black and white to be stylistic.

Hell, no help at all , lol.

Sorry, guys.
