You're cute today. Have another cup of snark, it'll be a long afternoon.

In the 12 months after the Columbine shootings, 800 gun bills were proposed. Yeah, no progressive element is trying to actually redefine the Bill of Rights.

Denial ain't just a river.

I think you're cute too, Beezer. I'm fresh out of snark, can I borrow some of yours? Or is it too much trouble to go to your warehouse.

Which of the 800 gun bills tried to repeal the 2nd then?

Another vague gesture ... be specific.

So you are nonplussed over the number. Another tactic you use is ignoring the efforts by asking for details. Bull. A common defense from the progressive elements. Overwhelm with BS then ask for specifics.

And, really, you chose that paltry effort over "Queen of Denial?"

You're slipping.

Too obvious.

Actually, its been debated for years what exactly are Forefathers meant by gun rights.

Only recently was it defined because of pressure from the Extreme Right Gun Lobby.

beez, if the Dominionists get in, you'll still get to have guns. But you'll also have to go to their church, millions of homosexuals will no doubt lose the ground they've struggled to gain, and Muslims, Buddhists, Atheists, "nones", hell, even Catholics, will have to switch or be PROsecuted. They want control of:

Government
Business
Arts & Entertainment
Media
Family
Schools....

I always forget the 7th mountain.....Oh yeah - RELIGION

The 1st Amendment would stop all of that. Doesn't the term, "Separation of church and state"" mean anything to you?

If the progressives get in, you'll still have guns. And kids won't be taught Creationism. And gays will have the same rights they have today. And Muslims can be Muslims, etc.

Anyhoo - VOTE FOR BERNIE!!

If the progressives get in?

The progressives ARE in, and they are destroying the country!

Demonstrate how the Islamist Republic of Iran is socialist. Specificially.

Yada yada ... you want to talk about what you think about me now that your subterfuges keep failing.

I'm not going to revisit your absurd claim about a horde of gay spies infiltrating the government. I've said very clearly that change was very gradual (over 40 or so years) and that the only real change was initiated by people who were willing to step up, march, lobby officials, make themselves SEEN ... the antithesis of what you're trying to pull.

I can't speak to the general dishonesty of Republicans.

Talk about the Dominionists as referred to in the OP are really just a group of Christians who want to be in government.

Or give evidence of your wild claim that all Theocracies are socialist.

Or anything that we can discuss the facts of, rather than outlandish innuendo and belief-based nonsense.

Still yammering on about what you think of me and offering silly critiques. More smokescreen.

Okay, give me ONE of the 800 proposed laws that tried to repeal the Second Amendment.

Just one. That's surely not too much effort.

I don't believe the word "gun" or "weapon" is in the Constitution at all. I know someone will correct if I'm wrong....

Even felons can own a cross bow, but they are forbidden to own a "gun". No one citizen is legally allowed to own a bomb, but many contractors are allowed to own explosives....but those aren't considered "arms".

Gun rights.....I got no dog in the fight, but it is a complex topic.

Proving your point that Progressives are trying to alter, redefine the Constitution and Bill of Rights?

Annee, remember, Beezzer adopts the winger line that the 2nd Amendment means that no government, local, State or Federal, can place any limits at all on gun purchases.

Let's forget the fact that there are an estimated 300-400 MILLION guns in the hands of Americans, and that number has been growing by almost 10 million a year in the last decade.

The 2nd Amendment is in constant peril from *duhn duhn duhhh* the evil progressives.

It does to me, yes. But it doesn't mean anything to David Lane (the organizer and backbone of this operation)....

from the OP, he is quoted as saying so:

He argued that America was established as a Judeo-Christian nation and that separation of church and state was never meant to keep religion out of politics.

“There’s no truth to that, the Constitution says the state is to keep out of the church, it doesn’t say the church is to keep out of the state,” Mr. Lane said
, adding that secularism is another religion that’s being imposed on Americans.

Right after you provide just one example of how the evil religious folks are going to overthrow the government.

I'm a gun owner. I casually follow the gun debates.

I know that the 2nd amendment probably does not mean what the Extreme Right wants it to mean.

That is until the Extreme Right Gun Lobby pressured the government to define it and make it say what they want it to mean.

The OP did also.

Read the thread.

Now, it's your turn. You came in with the assertion that your beliefs about "evil progressives" is equal to the stated goals of Dominionists.

Time to put up, bunny. Or keep hopping around in circles.

They are?!!

Inequality is destroying the country. Tell me again how equality (including income equality) destroys countries???

Or, at least tell me how it's not money that runs our government now. Corporate monsters BUY our politicians.

Beez, you know better than that.

Why do you have to be a smartass??

That "one guy" is the one DOING this - rallying and pushing for the Dominionists to gain control of the government!

Is that how you'd refer to what Hitler had to say? It was all just "one guy's" opinion.

Wrong again.

You offer fears, opinions, and insinuations.

You're rather short on actual facts.

Typical.

Right.

I was just reminding you that our friend Beezzer is with the extremists on this particular issue.

I support the Second Amendment. Always have. Always will. Along with the rest of the Constitution.
