a table full of opinions, masquerading as truth
expressions of instincts, funneled into beliefs
a value system not one's own, gifted from the culture
a being who believes they are an individual
an individual who believes they are a collective
a collective who believes they are not animal

all of these, focused on parts, inconsiderate to all

taking seven steps back, falling into my own universe, and wondering if anyone's ideal could satisfy all minds

from which point of reference, in which direction
this is good, jump and land elsewhere, has become bad

we're told all kinds are necessary, it takes such variation for things to get done
yet stuck in it, we see what seems to be inefficiencies, stalemates, bipolar species

are we all projections of each other, from which light source does this originate
perhaps we never were to find out, only to question, and entertain endlessly

ourselves, or some other?
