The Addiction To Chaos

That smell, that taste, that feel. We are all intoxicated. Mesmerized. Getting that rush, the high, the adrenaline pumped. Addiction.

Addicted to chocolate, nicotine, THC, sugar, caffeine, porn, sex; the list is endless.

One thing that stands out more than the rest is CHAOS.

We live for the moment when the destruction occurs. We are bound to it. Hypnotized. Feel good moments only do so much to stimulate us.

We need the CHAOS. We crave it. A good dose of chickens running around with their heads cut off. We have been conditioned. Nothing else will satisfy our hunger. CHAOS.

We watch movies, we monitor the news, we read comics, we see videos, we hear, we feel the raw emotion. We become distracted by the normalcy of everyday life; but CHAOS, that just snaps us right out of those doldrums.

Who doesn't just love a good earthquake, hurricane, tornado, volcano eruption, plane crash, fire, war or destruction of some kind that leads to CHAOS?

The carnage, the death, the anger, the crying, the mass of undeniable wreckage; what a sick addiction, the worst, that unbelievable unharnessed energy of CHAOS.

Never ending thirst, unquenched desire for an addiction, consuming us, constantly; ultimately the only way for this addiction to end is that finality.

CHAOS overcomes us all and that will be the END!
