Past, present, future
Intertwine like constellations;
Plaguing all my thoughts,
Diluted concentration.
Paradigms unraveling,
Perfected visions crumbling;
Peace has come, at last,
Yet truth is oh so humbling.
Denied of my desires,
I lie here so bereft;
Memories and scars,
Are all that i have left.
What once was, in the past,
Can never be again;
But closure must come fast,
So that healing can begin.
Pain is an interpretation
Of what words cannot express;
But sorrow changes nothing,
Despite all my distress.
Letting go and moving on...
Not as simple as it seems;
When you haunt my every thought
And i see you in my dreams.
Looking through this tempest,
I see no break in clouds;
Longing for the sun,
But the light, this storm shrouds.
Fate has it's way
Of teaching what is needed;
It never wages wars,
Yet i feel so defeated.
As time moves along
I can't help but come to see;
That what is meant to be,
Isn't meant for us to see.
