Nothing. Some will try to spin anything into something that demonizes Barry.

What irks me about the drug war is police unions, sheriff organizations, and prison unions all lobby for strict drug laws and are strongly opposed to any reform.

This makes me wonder who the police are trying to protect and serve.

Perhaps you should avoid knee jerk reactions to articles you haven't read? That wasn't a statement from the President. Maybe you "needs them misquotes" so you have something to express fake outrage over?

There are misquotes and intent via context. The PC libtard crowd fly off the handle for nothing, twist stiff around, etc. Are they somehow special, is there a free pass that they get from pretending to hold the higher moral ground by using their own form of twisted intolerance?

From the article in the NYTimes:

Under the Constitution, the president has the power to grant “pardons for offenses against the United States” or to commute federal sentences. A pardon is an act of presidential forgiveness and wipes away any remaining legal liabilities from a conviction. A commutation reduces a sentence but does not eliminate a conviction or restore civil rights lost as a result of the conviction.

So a pardon will NOT mean probation and restitution, as some of the comments here suggest. Agree?
