On H2, The Devils Graveyards.

This show basically talks about 12 "vile vortices" that seem to correspond to a high concentration of an aluminum isotope 26 that are layered out in a manner to mess with the Earth's magnetosphere. It has a little bit of every, Govt coverups, nazis, ufos, Operation Paperclip and Admiral Byrds expedition to Antarctica just after WW II.

Just wondering if anyone else saw it and their opinion of it.

No, and I'm guessing H2 in England has a different schedule now.
Haven't seen it advertised either.

Yeah, it really pissed me off. It sounded like such an interesting premise, especially since I've read about these "vortices" frequently over the years, but like 10 minutes into it I realized it was another of those crap "documentaries" that sells itself as being real but plays out like one of those bad SyFy original movies. Same thing as that Mermaids and Megladon crap Discovery pulled.

I thought the same, weird metal choice set off my BS detector.

I remember when History used to air programs that were educational, and of some historical value. Now it's nothing but woo, designed to cater to the uneducated and the ignorant. It's a shame.

I seen this program last year, and was appalled at the beginning when the German shepherd kills the main researchers son. What a gruesome way to start your fake documentary!

Why bother calling it the History channel anymore? Why "Discovery" either??

More like "FAKE TV" or the "Blair Witch Channel."

Try watching Vikings or Texas Rising if you want something well written and educational, the History channel stopped showing the kind of content you are reminiscing about when it became evident that anyone could just look it up on youtube and gets dozens of options.

But yea, let's pretend that our unparalleled access to information and knowledge actually requires a television channel to not operate like a business and serve its customers what they want to see.

Yep, very sad. And the same with Discovery. Both channels are utter sh*t now. And future generations will suffer for it.
