But, I like doom and gloom threads. I don't have to believe them. I like watching people take them apart. Trouble is some of the stuff is actually real but people can't comprehend it. Many people here can see the future of the economy and conflicts but most people cannot comprehend this stuff out in society. The thing is that the people structuring this deceit are good at what they do and hire the best people available to cover things up.

Common sense is a misnomer.

You said it brother !!!!

Btw I finally figured out why your post cracked me up always . When I read your reply all I can hear in my head is Oliver Reed saying the words . Lol

Which results in a plunge into the dictionary for me. Plus I feel the need to use words like assuage in a sentence and that's not too easy believe me.

Funny that if NASA says something that is proven false then nothing they say can be trusted ever again but a known hoaxer or hoax site should be given the benefit of the doubt. Interesting...

I think we expect a government agency to be more forthcoming. We don't hold such high expectations for known hoaxers, or questionable sources. Though, in my opinion, information should never be discarded because of the source alone. Whether NASA, or any other source.

BTW. Do you know something I don't? When has it been "proven" NASA has provided false information? I'd like to read up on that.

If our experience with a particular website is that they don't use logic or rely on evidence to come to conclusions, how can they possibly come to a correct conclusion in a logical and evidence-based way? Just because they are right sometimes doesn't mean that is the case because of proper investigation and analysis. If they are prone to using extremely flawed analysis, why do we have to take each of their conclusions and evaluate them? Why not just go to a better source, even if it has a different conclusion?

I pretty much agree with you and want to add that it seems that lately good threads have been few and far between.

I shall admit that in these sparse times of well written and sourced threads I am guilty of flagging some real doozies based on the comedic value. If they made me laugh I wish to share the humor.

Hydrogen and ignorance are the two most common things in the universe.

The excuse always falls back on "but this is a conspiracy site"....

Science ad logic are the very roots of denying ignorance. But here we are.

I just find it annoying to no end. Have some common sense! Consider the source! Ugh.

You can't ask a mentally ill person to think rationally.

Since 2012 came and went this site hasn't been half as much fun...

We need doom threads - I read a few now and then just to see if the worthy successor to 2012 has been found, but so far, no such luck.

I live in hopes

Yes indeed!

I wonder, if you made PM David Cameron talk over an open flame, whether his words would go pop like hydrogen gas does, and if so, would it prove any correlation between the distribution of these two common things throughout the universe?

I apologise for my remark. I find it really hard to tell what tone of voice ones writing is written in. The are many things you could say bur have a different meaning depending on what tone of voice the said saying is spoken. I am sorry.

I see a plethora of posts stating various doom porn du jour, usually that some awful terrible thing will befall the planet Earth. I click on the link to see where the article came from. It is always some website I have never heard of and would not get my news from if it were the last website on Earth!

There is no science, logic, or common sense, just a bunch of Armageddon crap! In many cases it's a blog from some nutcase that has been endlessly debunked. Even worse, sometimes it's from a known hoax site like sorchal faal or BIN.

But when challenged, the people who post this crap say "you're a shill/ sheep lie/govy agent".

Whatever you want to call those of us living in the real world.

I just find it annoying to no end. Have some common sense! Consider the source! Ugh.

Could you please list a few completely accurate and credible sources please? Seems no matter what the source, people always claim its bogus, especially MSM. Id be interested to see what you consider reliable.

I'm with you OP. Do you also find it annoying when people cast
threads, that belly ache and moan about threads that annoy them
personally? It's like they expect everyone to come to them and make
sure thier most recent effort, doesn't annoy them personally. In fact,
I even hate in thread posts of such an annoyance. I mean when do
they finally realise nobody gives a fiddlers #### what annoys them?

Right?

We have a winner!
