For many years I was a radical gender activist.
I don't want to bash anyone else, but suddenly something very strange happened.
I wanted to become birth-gender.
I wanted to be a male!

Not to judge anyone else, but I wanted to move away from being effeminate.

The good thing was that my sudden gender-awakening was in-line with my born and natural body.

First people laughed, but now they're not laughing.
I'm not sure if it makes me more socially acceptable.
Some who knew me have been shocked.

Is it something in the brain that suddenly kicks in?

What could I do or like to be even more masculine?

If you're happy I'm happy.

Your phrasing caught my attention ... "the good thong". Do you have thoughts on that?

Build something.

It's nice.

I feel it should be something to consider when studying sexual identity.

It's been quite revolutionary and strange.

I would never have gone shirtless, but now I'll do it without squeamishness.
I have a different body-image.

Flip - I like sports.

I was always the worst at PT - I hated PT and PT hated me.
Yet now I'm having strange dreams of scoring goals or scoring in rugby.

Now that I want to be a man all my friends are married and not interested.

Thongs are for sissies.
Let it swing if you're a man.

Drink beer. Belch and fart often and loudly. Eat bacon. Pee standing up. Um...I think I covered it.
Also, this video could help.

Now, beat your chest like Tarzan and sing the following song:

ETA: I hope you don't mind my half joking attitude. I didn't post any of the above to belittle you or trash your thread. I thought that you could use a laugh. I hope you at least chuckled.

I'd like to design a big wall around Western culture and countries, and then the Occident and Orient never need to bother each other again.

Wow, thanks man.
I have been paying attention to some of that.

I make a point of peeing upright.
I still get a bit pee-shy.

But then I think of the waterfall, and the music from The Mission.

It's just the horror of it all.
Aren't men supposed to endure the unspeakable terrors of history?
Is it safe being not just a male, but being a man?

"Halfoldman", this sounds like a shill debate, just my intuition.

Irrelevant. Most men have a surge when testosterone infiltrates their system. The purpose of the male is to seduce the female into having offspring.

The female has control of reproductive rights. This is an evolutionary trait, she chooses the most affluent male to pass on genetic attributes.

Sorry, but your position as a male is irrelevant to evolutionary progress.

Apologies if this is harsh.

I'm glad that you got the humor of that.
A couple of good scars help. Just don't go picking a fight with a lion or anything. Then again, that would be pretty manly. Especially if you won. Then again, you could get seriously hurt or killed so don't do it.

It sounds like the OP is trolling.
If not - it sounds like you're still an extreme gender activist.

Maybe it is or not serious.
I'm not so sure myself.

But if people can suddenly start feeling trans-sexual, perhaps a mirror study could be done on people who suddenly feel very feminine or masculine in their own bodies.

I was quite happy to be gay and rather effeminate, so evolution has never bothered me.
I would like to have kids and settle down though.

The male must seduce the female?
Oh ...
I'll put on more deodorant.
Thanks for the hint.

Grow mustache and scratch balls while watching baseball, nothing is more masculine than watching other men scratch their balls for 5 hours

Interesting. I get where you want to go but am not quite sure where you're coming from? Were you effeminate and considered male or were you living life as a woman, become a woman or what? Can you clarify if you're talking masculine or feminine (gender) or male and female (what parts ya got) Or have you simply thought of an interesting discussion topic for a thread as perhaps literary exercise?.

So, what is a "radical gender activist" and why would have one chosen a user name that denotes gender? There's been some red hot gender threads in the last few weeks and I don't remember if you've posted in them but wouldn't an "activist" be all over it? Was your "sudden gender awakening in line with your born and natural body" mean you no longer have your born and natural body or you're just getting back in touch with it? Why or whom would you be bashing and how old are you? What is you sexual orientation?

You do have a pretty butch avatar there, halfoldman, unless you've recently changed it with your discovered masculinity? Regardless, I'd be happy to provide you feedback from a woman's perspective If you answer some of the questions I've asked and I think you're being genuine? You want to be more masculine but we don't know what we have to work with.

You forgot the thing about chewing tobacco. Does the juice burn when you swallow it? Be a man and ignore it. It'll put hair on your chest. Or give you ulcers.

It sounds like you may be confused. The mindset of transgender and homosexuals are not parrellel.

Yes. The purpose of males is to contribute to a stronger genetic offspring. If it wasn't, females would just self replicate as they do in other species.

So you ARE saying that you identified as Gay (I recall seeing other posts on this from you, iirc) and now you're saying you have been freed of the "gays"?

I have to be honest when I say I honestly don't know what your angle is, but if you're saying you woke up straight one day, I doubt you were gay to begin with. Or perhaps you are realising that you can simply care for another human being and playing campy effeminate limp wristed stereotypes is mostly the act?
