Without asking too many personal questions, do the issues you had prevent you from speaking to him at all? You mention personal and moral issues, and
those could indeed be serious, but do you have to reconcile to meet? Could you, without compromising your morals, just go visit, perhaps other
relatives in the same area, and maybe encounter him, without a reconciliation? Be polite and civil, and leave anything else up to him? If you truly
don't want to, that is your decision, but not going wold mean yo might feel bad about it later on. Just something to think about.
