As I caught the first images of Pluto I had this incredible need of creating this digital matte painting of how Pluto could be seen from a closer distance.

I probably be wrong and what we are seeing now in a vaguely shot from NASA because of its distance from the planet, is a high tech alien installation at the outer rim of our solar system. But I couldn't resist making a more non fictional image, because Ive always got that need to drag images to a more science fiction based picture..

Well here's my preview of Pluto of what we might be seeing but still not know if thats the truth...

Awesome work!

If it turns out to be accurate or not, I always love seeing artistic renditions! Very inspiring and thought provoking stuff.

What programs do you use?

Thanks , Space missions inspires me allot . And its a topic I really love working on..

This Image I used Zbrush as the base layer , I then made a photographic map from different moon craters ,that I later on rendered with photoshop into one picture .

so basically I used two programs.

Very inspiring and thought provoking stuff

I know its daring thats why I dropped this in the artistic section lol, they can never blame me when I totally missed my mark.. and I know for sure I did , I forgot the top rim thats clearly visible in the real picture . Maybe Pluto 2.0 has one

Very clever Obs. I like this and looking at it can imagine that Pluto is very similar.

Good work mate. Bit of talent there.

Kind regards,

Bally
