You do have some valid points I agree with.

But, to be even a little prepared...for fire, no electricity, flooding, cold spells, heat waves...and God forbid war and civil unrest...is always better than not being prepared at all.

To bad you did not wait to buy. With China's stock market crashing it looks like the market will be getting flooded with gold and silver they will no longer be buying so gold and silver prices are dropping again.
