We never had windows.
My parents told me it was because the thunder would just break them.

have seen heat lightening is when we were near the water like down the shore are you near water?
Since I have moved to Pennsylvania I haven't had the pleasure to see it we just get the regular
severe weather/thunder storms when I say severe I MEAN severe!

Am a bit away from you and saw the same type of storm, never seen lightening like that before, but it was pretty enough!

Here in the southern foothills of Virginia we see that almost every night during the summer. I watched the first video thinking wth is strange about it???

I guess it would be very strange of one had never seen it!!

"Heat lightning" is just a misnomer for distant lightning that has no accompanying sound--it's not an actual thing that happens because of heat, as the name would imply.

Cool storm too. Cloud to cloud lightning, or as some call it, heat lightning. Usually no thunder with it. (but you will get thunder when the cloud to ground happens)

Actually, we have been having weird storms everyday/night now since last week with no end in sight...
Heavy rains, heavy thunder and lightning. It's doing that right now. One storm comes in the day and another at night.

Totally unfair. I love a good storm and all we got was about 10 mins of light showers. It was looking so promising as well, really dark "brooding" skies and then.......nada. The really annoying thing is that the storm passed either side of York but York itself remained untouched - hmm, surely a conspiracy there somewhere!

As to your voice and accent........be honest here chief - that is a voice box, we all know you sound like Joe Pasquale!
