Can I get it custom printed on a t-shirt. Have you ever seen motorcycle riders confront driver's on their phone, that's the best.

Really! I suppose they should be banned from the public completely, but people would lose their minds if they lost contact for 30 seconds.

As long as you do not break your own rule I suppose! There is a place and time where technology is acceptable, pissing off a biker would not be one of them!

Here! Here! That is the only reason I even got one to begin with, my Mom and my kid and my spouse, only when I am needed for an emergency.

Wouldn't it be great if the phone did not work while the car was moving?

It might just have to amount to that. I believe there may have been talk of that for new cars.

I don't own a mobile phone, so there is no way I could.

They could just program them with cell phone jammers. Or you can only receive messages or alerts and you would have to pull over somewhere to access them.

Well you would be one of only 10 people that could say that. Owning one is not a bad thing, just doesn't have to be used constantly with rudeness and safety a factor.

My Hero!

There are so many annoying people on their cell phones everywhere, it is like an epidemic.

I don't have one by the way. I know pretty odd these days. But I don't want or need to be able to be in constant contact with people.

Nice rant
reminded me of being behind a person buying scratch and win tickets at the corner store ,while my intention was to jaunt in and out to get milk and bread . It's amazing the many choices of lottery tickets they make available to the public .

Then they want to stand AT THE REGISTER and scratch off tickets preventing any further business from taking place. Idiots.

I have a waiting room at my job and i need one there for sure. Then i need one advising people that if their phone goes off during their exam, they will be punched in the face.

It is an epidemic. Wow. 2 people have responded that don't own one...took me several years to get one and I am glad I own one for emergencies, but you will never see me driving on one and you will never see me being overtly rude while on one, I will excuse myself and go where nobody else is affected.

3 places:
My office - you're there to work, have meetings with my team. If a phone call is needed, please step into the reception area, break room, or better yet - outside.

My Mancave - you're there to relax, take a break, watch a movie, play a game, listen to some music, meditate, play an instrument or the like. You need to make a phone call, go into the living room, or better yet- outside.

My Bathroom- you're there to take care of a certain kind of business. Whether that's shower, bath, face washing, brush teeth, shaving, etc. If you need to make a phone call, please don't get the germs all over your phone, then come out and shake hands, put that newly 'undisenfected' poo-phone on my counters, furniture, shake my hand, touch my remotes, or hand me your phone, partially wet or not when you're 'out' and want me to make a phone call, text or watch some video, post, etc. Eeeww. Need to make a phone call? Unless it's an emergency...please for the love of all that you hold holy, finish up your business in the 'executive lounge', wash up and then come out and make/place/take that call.

Hello all,

About 3 years ago my cell broke and not having the money for a new one at the time, I decided to postpone the luxury. In what was supposed to be temporary lapse in service, I realized a few things. After about a month I was over the "instant gratification" withdraws of not having one on hand, in hand, all of the time. then I started paying attention to how others where behaving with the tech...oh the laughs (in my head of course, can't be running around laughing all the time...people might think me crazy...). For instance, seven friends (we'll call them friends) sit around a table all but one deep into conversation with somebody somewhere else, whom may even be sitting at a table, just not this table. Then you have the one guy who is not in conversation with a box at the table (ok we'll call him, me) because its rude to interrupt people in conversation.

The other day I was at work and a coworker's battery had died and he didn't have a charger, lol. I watched this guy every 5-6 minutes checking his dead phone for 7 hrs and every time complaining that it was dead. Kinda makes me think...which is more addictive: cigarettes or "social" media (devices)? I'm a moderate smoker at about a pack a day and I don't even think about a smoke every few minutes...

More on topic: Where would I post said sign? Everywhere.

Why?

Because it is my most humble of opinions that this technology has the potential to be as detrimental to society as the advent of the atomic bomb.

Peace,
Liberty Lost

On the customers FOREHEAD so everyone around them could see it, the customer surly doesn't care.

If they are going to be in line rudely on the phone, use them as a damn billboard .

Sorry, this one really gets me when I'm in line and someone does this. I feel better, have a nice day

I was sitting in a pizza place the other day and a bunch of teenagers were sitting at a table nearby. A girl fielded a call from her mother and insisted on putting it on speaker phone. I ended up hearing the whole conversation. I would have said something if the place was more crowded (other than the teenagers it was just me in the restaurant) and I was only waiting for the pizza so I could walk out of the place. It was still annoying though.
