pl3bscheese is right in a sense. It might not be a "human" way to think but, we are letting the weak thrive and multiply too much and eventually, this will weaken our species.

Really? Really?? Let the weaker ones in our society die?

Jesus f**king Christ. So, in your mind, people who may have a genetic disposition to a particular disease, for which vaccinations can fix, should be left to die because they "bring us down", genetically.

And in our current human society, some of the most amazing advances in the sciences and our understanding of the universe have all been by "strong", disease-resistant people, right?

No chance any "weaker" people in our society have contributed any innovation or revelation?

Correlation isn't causation...

Indeed. Here is another correlation for you:

China’s misuse of antibiotics should be curbed

China has a high rate of antibiotic use for inpatients and outpatients. On average, each Chinese person consumes 138 g of antibiotics a year—10 times that consumed in the United States.

Could one of the most widely prescribed antibiotics amoxicillin/clavulanate "augmentin" be a risk factor for autism?

Autism is an ever increasing problem in the United States. Characterized by multiple deficits in the areas of communication, development, and behavior; autistic children are found in every community in this country and abroad. Recent findings point to a significant increase in autism which can not be accounted for by means such as misclassification. The state of California recently reported a 273% increase in the number of cases between 1987 and 1998. Many possible causes have been proposed which range from genetics to environment, with a combination of the two most likely. Since the introduction of clavulanate/amoxicillin in the 1980s there has been the increase in numbers of cases of autism. In this study 206 children under the age of three years with autism were screened by means of a detailed case history. A significant commonality was discerned and that being the level of chronic otitis media. These children were found to have a mean number 9.96 bouts of otitis media (with a standard error of the mean of +/-1.83). This represents a sum total for all 206 children of 2052 bouts of otitis media. These children received a mean number of 12.04 courses of antibiotics (standard error of the mean of +/-.125). The sum total number of courses of antibiotics given to all 206 children was 2480. Of those 893 courses were Augmentin. with 362 of these Augmentin courses administered under the age of one year.

But eh, it's vaccines and anyone claiming otherwise is a big pharma stooge!

Autism Study: More Evidence Linking Altered Gut Bacteria to ASD

Do chemicals produced by gut bacteria affect children with autism? This week, researchers presented findings from a small study that suggests this possibility. They did so at the annual meeting of the American Society for Microbiology, in Boston.
"Most gut bacteria are beneficial, aiding food digestion, producing vitamins, and protecting against harmful bacteria,” says Dae-Wook Kang of the Biodesign Institute of Arizona State University, an author on the new study. “If left unchecked, however, harmful bacteria can excrete dangerous metabolites or disturb a balance in metabolites that can affect the gut and the rest of the body, including the brain."

Could a proliferation of Clostridia bacteria cause autism disorder due to the production of neurotoxins? Could antibiotics favor Clostridia proliferation since they are resistant to antibiotics (when you remove a good bacteria from the ecosystem, you leave room for another one to take its place)?

No it must be vaccines. We all now "they" are trying to poison us with vaccines.

Research by Dr. Sidney Finegold compared the gut flora of children with regressive ASD to neurotypical children. The results show that clostridial counts were higher in the children with autism. The number of clostridial species found in the stools of children with ASD was greater than in the stools of neurotypical children. Children with ASD had 9 species of Clostridium not found in the neurotypical group. The neurotypical group showed only 3 species not found in children with autism. In all, there were 25 different clostridial species found. In stomach and small intestine specimens, the most striking finding was total absence of Clostridia from neurotypical children and significant numbers of such bacteria from children with autism.

These studies demonstrate significant alterations in the upper and lower intestinal flora of children with late-onset ASD and may provide insights into the nature of this disorder.

Could fighting Clostridia help reduce autism symptoms? No way, autism is caused by vaccines.

Patients with values of HPHPA greater than 500 mmol/mol creatinine in the urine almost always have severe neurological, psychiatric, or gastrointestinal disorders such as autism, severe depression, psychotic behavior or schizophrenia, muscle paralysis, or colitis or sometimes a combination of these disorders. Treatment of a severely autistic child with six weeks of oral Vancomycin therapy resulted in an estimated six months in developmental progress as assessed by a developmental psychologist. Psychotic individuals with high HPHPA have been successfully treated using Vancomycin instead of antipsychotic medication.

Lalalalalalala I don't want to hear you it's vaccines, vaccines, vaccines! It cannot be otherwise you are a shill for pretending so!

could it be that the vaccines are lowering the natural immunity and kids are getting more sick more often and the doctors are over prescribing antibiotics that kill the good flora and the bad flora is taking over like you have talked about...........

So basically the cause of autism is still bacteria and not vaccines.

There are thousands of things that lowers natural immunity, even if vaccines did it too it wouldn't mean you can claim vaccines cause autism.

Not only it would mislead on the real cause of autism, but furthermore it would make people paranoid about vaccines when there is no reason to; what causes autism is specifically the use of amoxicillin, not vaccines. Get rid of amoxicillin and the problem is solved. Get rid of vaccines and the problem remains.

The problem with anti-vaxers isn't that they are critical about vaccines, it's that they want to get rid of them even if it means inventing causations that do not exist. Actually anti-vaxers are not critical when they act like that.

There is no flaw and the real proof needs only be viewed by scoffers with a mind to be educated by reality and not convinced of a conspiracy. But you know....some people really hate being wrong about stuff. Possibly not you but we know it's true of some and no matter what you present some people will refuse to even consider an opinion that is counter to their own.

Otherwise referred to under their common name of sane, sensible, rational people who believe in SCIENCE rather than PARANOID DELUSION.

Right , because science never made a mistake .

But I'll happily take the title if it means having control over what I PUT IN MY BODY.

Science has of course made mistakes, but unless you can PROVE that this is a mistake, and discredit all the evidence of the BENEFITS of vaccination, you need to calm yourself down and start to think logically.

Vaccination has helped to eradicate plenty of dangerous diseases that would otherwise have the potential to destroy the lives of billions of people. In contrast to that reality, you have a handful of very vocal anti-vaccine people with no evidence to support their paranoid claims, making themselves a hell of a lot of money from ignorant people who believe any bs story scary enough to make them panic.

No one here can offer any credible evidence that vaccination is dangerous, not one person here has been able to produce this so-called evidence even though they all keep saying it exists.

Produce that evidence, and I mean real evidence, that vaccination causes Autism, or diseases, or death. Please, give it up, either offer the evidence for what you claim or accept that it doesn't exist!

In hte past they never reliably detected autism in the population. Result: numbers were lower. Only now are they actually having the capacity to identity it in people. result: numbers are higher.

Has nothing to do with vaccinations. That's the problem with a lot of these threads. Conspiracies come soooooo easy here!!

I may be to late for this thread. There's no medical indication that vacines could cause autism at all. Autism is a mental and a neurodevelopmental disorder of the brain. There's no way that vaccines could cause Autism.

It's the same thing as saying that someone could get Alzheimer's by having sex. It's just, doesn't wotk like that.

This is my personal theory as well. We are just discovering the importance of our inner and outer biota. We are "Beings" with 1000's of different symbionts in us/on us.

Gut Bacteria and Mood?

We diagnose and give antibiotics too freely. The killing of gut/hand biota with prescribed antibiotics (not to mention the every-day antibiotics in soaps), the use of scheduled c-sections and formula (and missing out on a gulp birth canal fluids), and our general paranoia about "icky-ness', has created pathways for some individuals to lose (or never get) important bacteria they need to function properly.

Fecal Transplants show the importance of our gut bacteria

I expect we'll come to find that mistreatment of our biota is the root cause of our "Western" issues - whether by diet or medicine.

I didn't claim anything of the sort. I stated that sources used to deny any vaccine danger are biased. Anything pertinent to say, or just more of the same?
