The LORRI camera page has been updated with a new image, a real close-up of the varied Pluto terrain:

(cropped and rotated)


Here we can see both the icy mountains and the banded plains at the southern tip of the "heart".

NASA have just published another high-rez closeup of an adjacent area, with some more mountains, banded plains, and some very dark terrain: www.nasa.gov...
