This is one of the worst movies I've ever seen. It's so bad it's almost good. Nicholas Cage overacts through out the movie and I have no idea what kind of accent he's using. He's just plain weird in this movie.

A publishing executive get bit on the neck by a one night stand and thinks that he is turning into a vampire. It just gets weirder from there.

More about the movie: Vampire's Kiss

Here's a fun bit of trivia. There's a scene where Nicholas Cage ate a cockroach. He really did eat it.

I think Nicholas Cage is overrated . I might've forgotten one or two but the last time I remember I liked him in a movie was Raising Arizona .

what... Wait what in the world..

He almost sounds like bill from bill and ted, mixed with I don't know what.. Sometimes he sounds like he has a sock in his mouth, or he just took some downers? Imagine that, but mix it with a kid doing a rich mans accent..

Oh gawd he's back to stoner sounding again..

the ef is this?
Ok getting weirder..

I hope the vampire comes back, she looks, "nice."

"I ..dooontt reeeaallly know what youoour talking about I don't remember.. ok ok ok I guess I was pretty horny, pretty keyed up to lay with the girl right before, I was drunk too that was it, I had a little to drink, I was a little drunk, plus I was horny.."

What???

hahaha. .

Yeah, like that. Like I said, it's bad. It just gets stranger and stranger. Maybe it's good if you're not sober.

I can't tell if it's ok, or if it will come into it's own and be awesome, or if it's horrendous just yet..

But, I'm loving it. It's not a comedy is it?

I'm sober btw and I can't stop laughing.

Haven't seen it...

But IMDB says this;

"Peter's strange accent is supposed to be a fake accent used by the character because he thinks he sounds more "elegant" and "smarter" (hence the literary agent job). The accent comes and goes throughout the movie and is more prominent when trying to impress people, and less in scenes with people like the psychiatrist."

That's a good idea for a rating system. I know quite a few like that.

That makes sense. It sounds fake.

Are you sure that's Cage? It kind of looks like Chevy Chase.

It's Cage. This was back in 1988.

Check out this guy's impression of Cage on letterman.
Instantly hilarious from the moment he starts it.

That was funny. I liked his Al Pacino impression, too.
