This movie makes me laugh a lot. The acting is good, the action is over the top at times. Nicholas Cage talks a little weird though.

Kick Ass is about a high school kid who wants to be a super hero. He has no training and no super powers and soon finds himself in more trouble than he ever expected.

More about the movie:

Now there is a lot of violence and course language in this movie. If you're sensitive to that kind of thing, you might want to move on.

That's another one of those movies I refused to watch at first because I thought it would be stupid .

I broke down one day when there was nothing else on cable and realized I was completely wrong. That was a great movie and funny !!!

Never has there been a better Superhero/Villain name than The MotherF#er...

And there never will be.

Yeah it's funny. I thought it would be stupid too but nope! My favorite part is when Hit Girl goes on the killing spree in the drug dealer's apartment and that la la la la music is playing.

I liked that, too. The first time I saw that I said, "He just shot her in the ...Oh!"

Kick-Ass ... one of those movies we have in our cabinet that almost never gets brought out because you don't want the little kid to see it yet.

But you can't NOT have a copy of it.

Yeah it's definitely not for kids. That is if you don't want them picking up some interesting new words or if you don't want to scar them for life.

Great action film with a little of comedy through in. I liked Mark Strong as the bad guy. That movie was filmed in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. A lot of great movies are being shot here including DC's "Suicide Squad" starring Will Smith.

Another underrated hit that is in the same vein is "The Kingsman"s Secret Service". Strong is also in that movie, but he plays a good guy. You will love the final fight scene with soundtrack of KC and the Sunshine Band's "Give It Up". I was sick of seeing Samuel L. Jackson in any movie, but he won me over playing the villain in that movie.

Really good movie! part two was also good, but in the shadow of the first.

If you like comics, check them out, I enjoyed them a lot

I loved this movie, i have to admit. I was hooked from the moment he first tried being a hero - with the expected consequences! I actually spat tea all over the room when he was left bleeding on the floor.......

I heard there were comics. I'd like to see how different the movie is from them.
