Trump Lays the Smackdown on Univision! Boo-yah!

Donald Trump has a message to Univision employees amid his ongoing flap with the network: Stay away from my hotel.

The real estate magnate and GOP presidential candidate penned a letter to Randy Falco, president of Univision Communications, in which he bans the company’s employees from his Trump National Doral hotel in Miami.

“Under no circumstances is any officer or representative of Univision allowed to use Trump National Doral, Miami — its golf courses or any of its facilities,” Trump wrote.

He also called for Univision to cease construction on its Miami headquarters adjacent to Trump’s hotel. He warned that if the construction isn’t stopped and the gate between the two properties is not closed, “we will close it.”
The letter comes after Univision decided not to air Trump’s Miss Universe pageant because of remarks he made during his presidential announcement speech that the network believes disparaged Mexicans.

Trump referred to the U.S. as the “dumping ground for everybody else’s problems,” and said that Mexico doesn’t send its “best” people across the border as immigrants.

“They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people,” Trump said.

Trump, who also has touted his ability to build a “great wall on our southern border,” further chided Univision in the letter.

“P.S. Please congratulate your Mexican Government officials for having made such outstanding trade deals with the United States,” he wrote.

“However, inform them that should I become President, those days are over. We are bringing jobs back to the U.S. Also, a meaningful border will be immediately created, not the laughingstock that currently exists.”

Trump also said in a statement that he received an apology from Alberto Ciurana, Univision Network's president of programming and content.

"Apology not accepted. I call for his resignation as president of Univision and Univision should not be allowed to host the Presidential debate. It is a total conflict of interest," Trump said in a statement.

How about laying the smackdown on Univision, all of its employees and officials, and banning any airing of the Presidential runnings on their tv station. Mexico thinks it had a bad spokesperson for Miss Universe pageant? Well, Mexico...should Trump become President, will be seeing doom-porn with broken relations with the US.

About time the US had a person in the running who is as tough as Trump. The people of America need this type of leadership!

Him being president, is That for real? Thought it was a joke when I first heard about it.

Ehh, as crazy as Trump is, he is exactly what this country needs as a President in my opinion. He's one that usually buys presidents and policies, so not likely he will be bought. He has outlandish ideas, but they aren't all that un-senseful.

It however almost literally can be no worse than the last 16 years of presidency. Trump seems to be for bringing business back to the US, and with his business influence, being President really would make him the most powerful man on earth. I'm cool with that nut having his crack over any other in his situation making a stab at it. Just my opinion though.

I assume your countries perfect and has way more freedom of speech and uses it daily with no repercussion, and that you voted for assuming you can vote in your country a much better candidate with no flaws at all haha am I right? All in all as an American with a say on the issue I think he has the right idea just would like a different candidate to do it. Knowing trump there's an ulterior golf course involved or timeshare estates....

I'm sorry, but to me it looks like Trump is for Trump first, second and third..... then some "bizniz" buddies...... and as #54 or something he might take a quick peek at the state of the country.

I completely agree. However that attitude is par for the course in high level politics. They are all as bad as each other, people know it, and still vote for them.

You don't need a wall that is just a scam for them to make money. This has been proven by the fact that their is no immigration issues on the northern border with Canada and they have no walls.

The reason their is an issue on the Mexican border is because the American companies are giving them incentives to come here.

Prosecute the American Companies that hire illegal immigrants and problem solved. No need to waste tax payers money to put in the pockets of politicians companies that will create and maintain the walls.

Ofcourse you won't see any politician talking about that ,including Trump because the biggest offender of illegal immigrants in this country is the Agriculture industry . They just also happen to be one of the biggest and most powerful lobbyist in this country as well .

Inheriting a fortune from his father, being handed his fathers successful company leading it one major bank bailout and four bankruptcies, always being sued for not paying debts, a bad reality TV show and saying crazy things. Trump is the first Kardashian just not as good at business as they are.
