Maybe something happened when we decided to back them to take Palestine from it's people, I don't know but I highly doubt there's so many devout Christians in the upper echelons that actually believe that the Israeli's MUST have a home land so that Jesus will come back.
They insist they are just a group of friends, yet they funnel millions of dollars through tax-free corporations. They claim to disdain politics, but congressmen of both parties describe them as the most influential religious organization in Washington. They say they are not Christians, but simply believers.
Behind the scenes at every National Prayer Breakfast since 1953 has been the Family, an elite network dedicated to a religion of power for the powerful. Their goal is "Jesus plus nothing." Their method is backroom diplomacy. The Family is the startling story of how their faith—part free-market fundamentalism, part imperial ambition—has come to be interwoven with the affairs of nations around the world.
Japan and the United States are likely to resolve outstanding bilateral issues so that a 12-nation Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) deal can be struck at a multilateral ministerial meeting expected in July, a senior Japanese official said on Friday.
A deal between the United States and Japan, the world's largest and third-largest economies, is vital to clinching the multilateral TPP pact, which would cover 40 percent of the world economy. The deal is a key part of U.S. President Barack Obama's strategic rebalance to Asia in the face of a rising China.
The politically touchy matters of access to Japan's market for farm products including rice and the U.S. market for auto parts are among remaining bilateral issues, the official said told Reuters.

It was disturbing to see those celebrating and cheering the scotus shown on CNN today.
I don't think a single person celebrating and acting fanatically about aca being upheld was 25 or older.
Most of these fanatics have never worked a real job, paid taxes, or lived on their own. They have not experienced much in the real world but they have been indoctrinated to the highest degree. They celebrate not because they know anything about it but because their king tells them they should like it and those evil republicans are against it. The TPP will be blindly supported by these people as well.
I may sound like and old man yelling at clouds but I am seriously scared for the future of this country. This is coming from someone who had voted Democrat more they have voted republican.

Being a progressive liberal is a mental condition me thinks.........Idealism wins out over realism and this is a recipe for failure. Younger minds often fall pray to these ideals because it is much easier to be idealistic when you have nothing to lose.
As you grow older conservative values win out because they are needed for a successful family and work life. The saddest part is many are now holding on to these ideals into adulthood. It is why you see the rise in adult children I call them, they never leave the nest and are content living off the parents.
