I have been thinking about the TPP and I wanted to offer a solution rather than simply complain.

I'm not interested if you believe it's possible, I'm wanting to know what you would do with a clean slate.

If ATS could write it what would it look like?

Below is my suggestion. Please share your thoughts, and what you would do differently.

Steps to a new age of trade.

1. Universal Fiat Currency

Currency in circulation will be citizens times X-dollars. Each nation's monetary supply will be based on total number of citizens, not GDP. This will ensure a more even distribution of currency to third world nations. This will also eliminate the volatile exchange rates and put us into a true global suply and demand system.

I believe this is the only route to a non inflationary/deflationary system based solely on global supply and demand. The Gold standard is a trap that keeps the power in the hands of a few.

2. Wealth Cap

Establish a maximum amount of monetary wealth that can be maintained by each person. Eliminating hoarding will naturally stimulate the economy. All monies in excess of the maximum allowed will be taken in a one time wealth tax, as we switch to the global currency.

3. Eliminate Debt and Usury

Eliminate the Federal Reserve. Eliminate all debt created from Private fractional reserve banking. All future banking will be handled by a true national bank. Eliminate usury and maintain a Maximum term of 10 years for all loans.

If a nation does not have the ability to repay a loan within 10 years, it will be forgiven, and will be covered by the global monetary fund.

If an individual cannot repay, it will be forgiven after 10 years and be covered by the national budgets.

This limits a mans slavery to debt to 10 years. Debt should only be incurred for the most expensive purchases and investments. The final goal is to become a debt free surplus society.

4. Create Global Monetary Fund

Established to fund 0 interest loans for natural disasters or other emergencies. Cover all government loans in default after 10 years. Fund national and any potential international elections.

5. Establish a Universal Min Wage.

The current model has lead to both slave like conditions in some nations, and a huge waste of resources when we are shipping pickles from India to US Dollar stores. We can grow our own pickles and stop exploiting cheap foreign labor.

6. Establish a Universal Max Wage

The universal maximum wage set at minimum wage times X. We need to limit but not control income disparity.

7. Establish a Universal Tax rate.

Eliminate IRS. All deposits taxed at the same rate globally. The only fair tax is a flat tax. With a maximum wage set this will prove to be fair and effective.

7. 100% free trade.

With a universal min wage and universal currency, the exploitation of foreign labor will end and we will see jobs return to the US. Not everything needs to be produced everywhere but we need to be smart with what products we are shipping internationally.

8. Universal working standards.

Similar to the current US standards found in most states. Example; number of hours, OT, OSHA.

9. Eliminate Wall Street and all other stock exchanges.

All shares will be returned to active employees. Current shareholders will be reimbursed up to the maximum allowed monetary wealth.

10. Establish Investment Platform

We need to start over and ensure we create an investment platform that brings entrepreneurs together. The current investment model has proven to benefit only a few of the wealthiest individuals.

11. Democratic Elections

Nations leaders must be democratically elected, serving terms not to exceed 10 years. Current non democratic systems have 10 years to comply.

Elections to be funded by the Global Monetary Fund to ensure equal distribution to all potential candidates. In nations where the number of candidates is too numerous, regional debates will proceed national debates to reduce the number of candidates at the national level.

12. The USA will refuse to trade with any with any nation that does not agree with all the aforementioned policies.

The reason for change.

1. We will no longer support the exploitation of foreign workers.

2. We will no longer support massive income disparity.

3. We will no longer allow usury or private banking to create massive wealth disparity.

4. We will no longer allow the wealthy to exploit the hard workers that punch into a time clock each day. A man will not be able to generate additional wealth simply because he is wealthy. The wealthy will have to take risks like everyone else.

5. We will no longer allow the wealthy to dictate who has the means to run for office.

6. We deem all governments not established by democratically elected officials to be barbaric.

7. The government of the people, by the people, and for the people will be restored to the people. And we the people will ensure the spread of such government to all nations.

Is there anything you would add or do differently, and why?

It sounds like a fair world that does try to make the most of all human potential in a responsible way.

One contradiction with moving towards free and open trade is with the implementation of trade restrictions. There are many reasons why one nation does not hold the same standards as another. By implementing trade restrictions it creates further international division and adds to the challenges of attaining common standards of human respect and dignity.

Trade restrictions are used as a tool of domination and war, to help lever governments and push certain agendas ahead of others. In terms of providing a reasonable and responsible approach to the issues of governance, I fail to see a good argument for the use of trade restrictions. Trade restrictions does come across as boys fighting over the toys while it is the general population that losses.

No money, absolutely zero need for it, and all debt gone. That is step one.

Using existing infastructures, hospitals, schools but having release of real technology. Converting over to clean fuels and energy, and healing up earth.

Part time works, with lots of retraining. More homes built, eco farms, very large and decent types of townhouses with bedrooms on the first floor and bath so that people can grow old in their homes and not have to move, bad planning done away with. More homes that we need, so people can choose where to live.

Do away with ISMS and religions, and no elite. Not allowed. No royals, no corporate heads. Counsels and Panels of Citizens with freedoms and equality, health care and dental for everyone.

People encouraged to train and live their dreams and talents.

Venus Project run by lots of women, 50/50 would be good, but strong voices of those who like beautiful well thought out homes and no scarsity or harshness.

Really taking time to preserve and heal up nature.

I'll mow your lawn for a turkey.

You'll mow my lawn for a car repair.

I'll fix your computer.

You'll give me a gallon of milk.

That's my idea of free trade.

Well, luckily for us you'll never be a Finance Minister!

From Point 1 for a Universal Fiat Currency. Why should I be impoverished - along with everyone else in the developed West, by this feeling we should all be equal? We are not all equal because we all at different points in the chart. Some guy sitting in a slum in Brazil, or a hut in the Sudan is a victim of their own circumstance. Suddenly making them as rich as me, by making me as poor as them, will solve nothing.

Sorry man, I'm a greedy capitalist pig and will never go along with your ideas.

Sounds all warm and fuzzy, but, we're not all special snowflakes that DESERVE a trophy. I'll be damned if someone wants to take from me because I have to much and give to others so we're "equal". Our Country does that enough as it is!

You realize thier is no wealth in a society of one. Go live by yourself and you can be the wealthiest man you know.

The rest of us understand the dynamics of a society. We have evolved to the understanding that a society is created by a vast number of specialist.

Those of us who do not believe that we are better than society, understand that we must control income and wealth disparity.

Extraordinary wealth is the result of exploting society. I will not let the dirt diggers suffer, because someone in an office believes themselves more important to society than everyone else.

Controlled capitalism is the only equitable way to distribute wealth. No man is greater than what he is a part of.

And you are part of a society, no one should be allowed to exploit it.

This would do nothing of the sort. This would only allow third world nations to compete on the Global Market Place.

The United States would take a severe hit on imports, but that is precisely what we need. We need to rebuild our factories and bring the skilled labor jobs back into the American Economy.

This is a win for all. Global Competition for exports is possitve and will spur growth, everywhere. The third world nations will be able to buy what they need. And the developed nations will return to building much of what they need.

No one losses, except the 1%.

I don't know how to break up posts, so bear with me.

You said: You realize thier is no wealth in a society of one. Go live by yourself and you can be the wealthiest man you know.
-----
Self responsibility is my biggest concern. My family and household is my #1 concern. I rely on ME to make my families life better and will never put the burden on others, so it's easier for me.

You said: The rest of us understand the dynamics of a society. We have evolved to the understanding that a society is created by a vast number of specialist.
-----
What you have evolved into understanding, is the dynamics of a needy/self entitled society.

You said: Those of us who do not believe that we are better than society, understand that we must control income and wealth disparity.

Sounds like you simply want control. There is no disparity, you simply don't like what others have.

You said: Extraordinary wealth is the result of exploting society. I will not let the dirt diggers suffer, because someone in an office believes themselves more important to society than everyone else.
---------

As a "dirt digger", I don't want you representing me. I'm a big boy and will handle my own affairs. If I bust my ass to get ahead, I'll be damned if you think you can take it away and give it to the less unfortunate.

You said: Controlled capitalism is the only equitable way to distribute wealth. No man is greater than what he is a part of.
---

There are Countries that operate just like that, go to one! DO NOT change my Country to fit your beliefs. We are currently doing that and it burns my ass!

You said: And you are part of a society, no one should be allowed to exploit it.

-----

My family and myself is in fact part of society, but that doesn't stop me(or anyone for that matter) to have personal responsibilities.

For the love of bacon, everyone is NOT a special snowflake deserving of a trophy, put your big boy pants on and accept your responsibilities like a proud American should!

Your understanding of economics is not enough for me to explain to you what you don't understand.

These changes are not utopian, and unless you are making over 250,000 per year, your quality of life will improve.

The only way to make over 250,000 is to invent something or to exploit the hard worker, the dirt digger.

Anything drastic and sudden in an economy is not good as it takes time of the changes to filter through society.

As for gradual change there are a lot of international currencies all over of the place as market forces move them around. If the international community is to work together towards a common international currency, then having a goal of the same monetary value for all the different currencies is tops.

There are many different and complex reasons why different currencies have different values. Moving towards a common international unit makes a lot more sense for fairness and human potential than the current war torn and exploitive international currency clashes we currently have.

Additional observation about global trade and sustainable growth.

Global Monetary fund will rebalance national monetary funds every 10 years.

Once each economy has monies according to population, this will cause a massive uptick in demands for exports.

In the begging developing nations will be purchasing technology and materials to build a solid infrastructure. This will cause exporting nations to gain GDP.

If this continues unchecked One nation of exporters would eventually rule. As part of the flat tax we will need to take a "rebalancing of global funds tax".

As developing nations spend most of their money on imports, they will eventually run out of money and be no better off then when they started. This situation hurts both the developing nations and the exporters.

A constant rebalancing of monies between the exporters and importers will ensure the most consistent transition for all. Probably a 10 year cycle, maybe more often in the beginning.

This should provide the best situation for both importers and exporters, ensuring a gradual transition to parity. While creating jobs in both infrastructure building in developing nations, and increased export production in developed nations.

Everyone one wins except the Elitist.
