One of our channels here in the UK Dave has made this comedy documentory about the Hoff it's called Hoff the Record.




I watched the first one and I gotta say The Hoff is a legend.
Any guy who can take the mickey out of himself as well as he does gets the thumbs up from me.
The ending of the show made me wee myself with laughter.
Deiter Hasselhoff lol.

Oh and this also.

Don't hassle the Hoff!

If I remember correctly he is a rock god in Germany with huge album sales and sell out stadium tours!

He's had his fair share of demons to overcome too so I say All hail the Hoff!

That looks awesome!!

I was just watching some old footage of a Hollywood meeting of some kind where the producers of a sci fi movie called Logans Run, were showing what the futuristic costumes would look like in the movie. They brought out unknown models wearing the costumes. I totally recognized Hasselhoff as one of the young models. This footage was from around 1975, so he would have been around 23. Of course he was tall and handsome, but he had a little bit of a goofy look too. It was funny seeing him as this unknown kid, obviously trying to get in the movie business.

He seems to be having fun with being a caricature of himself. Reminds me of William Shatner who does the same thing.

Me too!

He typifies 80's German rock.

I recall him as the guy that drove 'Kit' the car with superpowers that talked.

The 80's to me were mostly blissfully naive, he is part of that.
