Hm. How did he get to Shelby, NC with no license? He jumped on a bus, caught a ride, or flew to a city 3 and half hours after the shooting, did he keep the gun or ditch it?

That means more or less, soon after the shooting he immediately fled the city. Will have to watch this and hope they got the right guy or gal.

He just offed 9 people. And drove himself to and from doing so. Why would driving 4 hours without a license bother him at that point?

I smell a false flag. What better excuse for more gun control. His uncle said he gave him the gun. With new gun control laws it would make it illegal to just give someone a gun without being checked out.

I would like to see this POS thrown into general population. Death penalty is way too quick.

According to MSNBC he was driving as they reported he was pulled over for a traffic violation and do not resist arrest. Not sure of the details as if the officers knew who he was at the time of the arrest or later.
Also nothing reported as if whether he was alone in the car or not.

A killing of 9 people in a church isn't a false flag, but there's definitely a huge uptick in talk about the need for more gun control on the MSM today. And I saw Obama's speech on CNBC. His anger was palpable and he had to make the comment to the effect that due to the current political climate in DC, he needn't even bring up the obvious need to do something about "gun violence", (his words, not mine).

Considering the state of race relations in the US, considering the unspoken notion of "Your tribe versus My tribe" and threats of more violence, I rather doubt the political climate in DC will ever be correct for a discussion of more stringent gun control in the US. That would be like an attempt to disarm the Israelis and the Palestinians.

Has anyone noticed the bullet proof vest with groin coverage hanging out below his shirt in the video capture from the church entry and what could possibly be an outline of a plate carrier, but no weapon visible.

All I can say is I'd be on red alert if someone came to my church dressed in visible bullet proof vest - much less sit down with them for nearly an hour without some serious questions and reservations.

Your average person probably isn't trained to recognize tactical gear if it's hidden under clothing, even if the groin protection is sticking out.

And he will ratchet up the gun debate and work to deepen the divide.

Not strange to me. His skin color is irrelevant with regard to that label to be honest. If he was a rapper that wrote/sung/enjoyed music that advocated killing cops, raping women, treating women like dogs, etc... And he also repeatedly was in trouble for assault and followed the "thug culture",then yes....he would be a thug.

So far, from what we know, not so much.

I would rather be confronted by a thug than a deranged killer. That is neither here nor there though, I am assuming she means he's not being referred to a thug because he is white. Just isn't coming out and saying it.

Not every thug kills, but every deranged killer kills. That is probably why he is not being called a thug.

Sorry that is not how the word has been used.
It has been used to label anyone that broke the law.

Mainly in the recent riots where 'thugs' were looting and causing commotion.
Nothing to do with stature or using brute force.
