Considering intersecting runways have been in use since the 40s and they haven't killed hundreds of people yet, you'll have to go a long way to prove they aren't safe.

It's done that way because it works. And "common sense" usually means "If you don't agree with me you don't have any."

I'm curious: Aside from flying commercially, how have you been involved in aviation?
