could be we had a 3 hour power cut last week and i monitors the local cells slowly fail one by one
over the first hour n half and all back up within minutes of the power returning

Hi back again

Car crash local. Pretty messy and seems to have knocked all mobile signals out. This is in belfast. Phoned a friend (from house phone) who works in the business and he said everywhere was down. He must have meant everywhere (in this area). Must be a temp attack (tiny electro magnetic pulse)

Naivety and trusting the word of a mate 'in the business' is all I see.
I like how quickly the membership of ATS was able to confirm there are no problems though.
If I see a 'news' story I come here first to see what the questioning thinkers are asking about it first.
Much more believable than the seemingly unthinking facebook masses.

Yep, definitely, if I lose mobile and landline at the same time then I shall be concerned that something major has happened...at least in my area, and I would do the face to face thing to see how widespread it is.

What's utter twaddle? The area is still out. How is that hard to believe. If I could close the thread I would. But I can't. After talking to around 20 people on many networks which were all out I though my mate was right. Obviously he was wrong.

Easy mistake but if you haven't anything better to do than read through a thread that you know is wrong then god help you. Go and research something important and expose the corrupt elite rather than scanning threads to rubbish already admittedly debunked threads.

I could shorten that for you but going by your lack of motivation to exert yourself on something productive I think you will enjoy this useless and pointless post.

I don't see the issue really, 60 odd million people in the UK, what difference can it make knowing such basic information?

I think your friend may be telling porkies, from what I gather back up systems can be turned on with a flick of a switch to re-route tower pings and there's a constant emergency management system in place as back up to broadcast any emergency or locate people who are ill/lost (I'm epileptic and had to use it once after having a seizure in the middle of nowhere so paramedics pinged my phone to find me).

As for revealing locations, I highly doubt anyone with any sensitive info is going to sign up to a conspiracy site and hope intel services have better things to do than read this.
