Royal.

Must admit I love this version better than the original.

Bad romance.

I love the clothes and style...so gutted I missed them a month ago when they did a few gigs in the UK.

I love Post Modern Jukebox.

ETA: Somewhere on the intertubez, there's an article about Puddles the clown. Interesting read.

Cool stuff. Some of it reminds me of Richard Cheese.
I don't like the original songs but these people made them into something I can listen to. I can't listen to the Royal one without hearing Weird Al's Foil in my head.

Find it! I love his voice.
I have started to sing again after not for 20 years and I have a similar voice to his, I just gotta get my breathing right, it has been a long time since singing lessons.
But I will get better.

Lol! I meant the gurrls too.

Funny thing, is when you see an act like that, I don't see so much as post modern, it's like old stuff brought up to date with the quality of sound that was likely there, but the scratchy recordings were just not up to it, especially at the bass end.
Now that bass player is using a double bass, what I think would be catchy, is that he used an electric Gretsch bass, (which comes with a spike) which means it can be played upright or over the shoulder like any other electric bass, yet I have never seen one used upright. That would be a nice touch...I think.

Eeee once upon a time I would have been talking back at you about Basses I was in a band but quit it all 20 years back
.
Vowed never to even touch one again.
But yes it really does bring the old tunes back to life.
