Well I hate Winter as much as you hate Summer.
-I hate the holidays
Sucks to be you, but ok.
-I hate the cold
Oh, come on, that fresh icy air is so rejuvenating versus oppressive heat & humidity!
-I hate snow storms
Oh you are absolutely no fun at all. Shoveling is well worth the deep snowbanks to play in. Not that I do that < looks around > Ok, I do that.
-I hate having to run the heat
It's a trade-off. Either you hate a high winter heating bill, or you hate a high summer cooling bill. Trust me, it's less of an insult to pay to keep
warm than it is to dole out the money trying (and failing) to stay cool.
-I hate having to wear tons of extra clothes
What tons of extra clothes? I keep hearing this, but never did it. Flannel PJ pants (the thick ones, not the thin southern knock-offs) under jeans was
more than enough to keep me warm with a heavy coat below zero.
-I hate people being sick or getting sick
That's more due to people shutting themselves in thinking they'll avoid illness. Cycles through the indoor air more easily. Try going outside more,
your immune system'll love you for it.
-I hate how all life except humans disappears from existence
I saw just as many animals outside during MI winter as I did during spring or even now. Actually, more birds came to our feeder during winter, but
that's a given.
