Turn on the light

Turn on the light that you are,
It's never far, there is nothing
you have to do.
Just be your self
and the light shall shine
near & far.
Like a never ending fountain
rising up and sprinkling down
bless your self and all
those around.
This may astound you,
But the truth abounds in you
Only we choose to veil it
With shame and sadness
A common story, we have all
fallen in & bathed in.
Just release it all,
Return to the light
of who you are.
Shine bright and twinkle twinkle
All you little stars.

There is much you have to do, the higher self simply is, but you are identified with the egoistic self, and there is much that needs be done to transcend the law of karma. i.e. complete atonement with higher will.

This is what you have said, have to do. In truth what I meant has its emphasis on the have to. Once you are being yourself- (you are not identifying with the ego self) that is the key. Then slowly but surely, what has to go will go, but with patience. It not about have (forcefulness) but allowing! Take another look you may see the light.but you dont have to.

exactly, nicely said! It is the most simple honest truth.

your poems are a gem for me and I always enjoy reading them! They have a lot of stuff between the lines and I think that it is beautiful when a poem can express hidden meanings but only if the reader is aware enough of the spaces between the words, filled with warm light of love they can share if true meaning is understood.
