Mm... I'd have to go with the good ol' F-14. An absolute beauty of an aircraft. The swing wings give it a nice bonus too. I love it's looks with
both the wings swept back or foward. The F-18's all right, but for some reason I don't like it as much as I probably should. ^_^
As for the Navy planes of old, yeah, I'd have to say the Corsair was my favorite. Followed closely by the Hellcat. Rawr. The F-4 is always a
classic, too.
Chris, you live down a county from where a lot of EA-6/A-6's operate from? And you live in Washington? Could you be talking about Whidbey Naval
Airstation? If so, I live not too far away from there, in Skagit county. Yeah, you can ID their engines easily, but, man! Those loud things aren't
so fun at three in the morning. I swear, the Navy conducts EA-6 practices right above my house in the middle of the night.
