It clears up a lot about stealth, radar and jamming technology. I could follow it pretty well, but there is a lot of technology involved as well as
tactics. It is a U.S. thread so the 'cool-aide' phenomena can't be discounted yet it seems objective.
One thing that I got out of it all that hasn't been mentioned at all is the increased power that the F-22 and F-35 have to utilize their systems. Not
only a smaller RCS but much more power for their systems vs other platforms.
Maybe money wasn't the only factor in Putin cutting the PAC-FA to only 12 units. Perhaps they also have more than engine technology problems.
Computing power and sheer electrical systems seem hard to match as well.
