Ok people NASA is supporting a WORLD insignia to replace national flags.

I'm with NASA on this one, might as well give ourselves a sporting chance before they realise we're all of the things you mentioned.

I’m making a sincerely felt belief of the injustices of this earth done to people and tolerated by so called “good or decent people”


I’d be embarrassed and feel like the biggest hypocrite and liar in the world if I projected some BS flag to some aliens as if we aren’t savages in this rotten world who stand by and do nada at things like ISIS and any of the genocides occur

Show it to a Syrian child droned or murdered by some mad dog religious fanatic


When we clean up this mess then we can give off to the universe a flag that we can be proud of

The symbol is known as "The Flower of life" it is sacred geometry and very ancient in origin
It is not the property of any one nation but is universal

If they even have flags, would they not do the same for the same reason I stated above?

A lot of our history is terrible, am I responsible for it? No.
Therefore would a flag representing all of us not be better, since they're visiting space anyway, than a flag highlighting the crimes of others' and scaring off potential friends?

I think it is a great idea no neat to politicize space and cause division everywhere. If we meet another intelligence out there is should be as a planet not a country.

Because it is based on geometry
A circle divided by its radius making six points of reference

In the case of the Flower of Life symbol (NASAs) the six points are used to extend the centre circle into more circles all created with a compass
