Wouldn't the Progs be uspet that the founding fathers would want us as armed as the army that isn't supposed to exist?

The idea or theory is to create Government dependence in order to expand it,and get jobs for buddies.
They also aren't too crazy about allowing us to be able to start a rebellion...very bad.

Can't argue with gun owners, a lot of them are idiots.

Somehow see it as a bad thing to be held responsible for a deadly tool. They compare such stupid things to it, a knife, a hammer, a car and other things.

Big difference with all those. Not one of those items can accidentally go off and kill or injure someone.

Oh yeah and murder is already illegal.
Great argument for no gun control.

Who cares really though. Look at their examples, it proves you cannot debate them reasonably. In their minds the world is out to get them. An example "I need a gun to stop mass shootings", yet they rarely do.
"I need a gun to stop crime", yet guns rarely stop any crime. Etc.

Apparently gun are supposed to make you feel safer but it all comes off as a paranoid fool needing a gun for imaginary scenarios.

Who is living the better life, the person who can walk the streets, live their lives and enjoy it without feeling the world is out to get them or the person who feels the need to armed at all times?

I also truly believe those same great forefathers would be rolling in their grave if they knew that their gun rights created a country of people who are live their lives in constant fear. A paranoid life.

Apparently gun insurance, and superfluous laws that don't stop anything is suppose to make people who hate guns feel safer.

The founding fathers truly are rolling over in their graves the right to keep, and bear arms with it's original intention was to have an armed populace.

Even more so when the founders had to BEG the French, and the Dutch for weapons because King George wanted people who couldn't fight back.

They wrote the second so HISTORY would not be repeated.

There is no question the founders are rolling over in their graves.

Firearm ownership is a right. It is not a privilege contingent on insurance or any other qualifiers imposed by the state.

Exactly thanks to guns, the government never screws people over.

The government is living in fear of these rebellions, which is why they never make any laws to screw people over and they never tax people to death out of this fear.

Oh wait.

Don't forget murder is illegal.
That should stop them from making any sensible gun laws.

Later. I made my point.

The Apocalypse can't come any sooner for this guy. Oh wait, gun owners can just shoot the Earthquakes, Volcanoes, disease..etc.

We are saved.

That is right murder is illegal.

So how does banning things or creating insurance do anything ?

Other than holding 99.9% of the population responsible for what the .01% does.

Oh I forget that is the modern day definition of 'social justice'.

I was hoping you could expand on how pointless the Bill of Rights was.

So are you leaving since you can't respond nominally or is your trolling point selection already used up?
Try walking around some of the Prog run towns ,Baltimore ,Chicago, places in Michigan with your carefree attitude for the rest of us if you will.

One more thing, The Bill of Rights is an archaic document that need to be changed with the times.

America seems to stuck in the past. I bet you guys all loved the good ol' days when a dispute could be settled with a gun fight.

Thank you! This illustrates your position.

Bill of Rights?
Constitution?

Archaic documents that are irrelevant.

So nice to talk to a progressive that isn't afraid to admit it.

Well then don't see why people are snipping about the Patriot Act then.

Since the Bill of Rights is so 'archaic'.

Hell glad to see trial by jury is gone too.

Glad to see Lois Lerner can no longer plead the 5th.

Hoorah!

Let's live under the police state where WE HAVE NO RIGHTS as afforded under that 'archaic' GD piece of paper.

Progressives don't want a representative republic.

They want a tyranny, a soft, kind, gentle tyranny.

It's for the children.
