Some people live in desire. I'm not talking about sudden urges to do one thing or another, but rather, yearning and longing for one thing or another. This can bring a feeling of emptines inside. Feeling lack brings fear, worry, impatience, and anger. How can you love others or help others feel peace if there is no love or peace within you? If you feel full and satisfied, you are more likely to forgiveness knowing all is well and you are safe.

If our thoughts are energy which flows to others since we are or connected, or in a more material view if you do not believe in the energetic world, if we are connected through feelings and words by social bonds then it is important to keep positivity to influence others positively. If a loved one (someone known) is depressed or suicidal, what is the usual thing people do? Remind them of the blessings in their lives and that they have good reasons to live. Remind them of all of their abundance (and abundance is not just money, but all of the things to be grateful for, including the people who had great meaning in their lives).

It's important to focus on what we have in order to be happy, again, not just physical but things like Love and Friendship, all abundance, all blessings, all reasons to be grateful and happy, and to remind those who are unhappy of this Abundance Consciousness, reminding them of all of the good things. The words you speak to others, or write or type to others, goes to their mind as they hear it internally as a thought, so talking about the Abundance/Fullness in the world would appear as positive thoughts in their mind relaxing them.

Words effects the brains stress hormones, too:

recent research has shown, the mere repetition of positive words like love, peace, and compassion will turn on specific genes that lower your physical and emotional stress. You’ll feel better, you’ll live longer, and you’ll build deeper and more trusting relationships with others—at home and at work.

That was rather heavy, but it was a good post.

You have to be careful who you give those "positive vibes" to though. There are people out there, women especially, who have never been given the type of positive reinforcement that youre talking about, from a man before. People like that are more apt to love the messenger rather than the message. That can be bad if it wasn't the messengers intent. And what's even worse is if the person given the message cannot find the words to reciprocate.

That just gives the messenger the impression that he's pissing in the wind when he probably didn't want to whip it out in the first place. And before you know it, that initial message of love and peace gets convoluted and lost in misinterprations and lack of further communication.

It really sucks when it gets confusing friend. So I don't know which is more important, choosing your words carefully........or your audience.

That being said, this site has become too much of a distraction to me. It's cutting into my profit margin.

I'll be back when I retire.

You cannot have any thing - things are just words that make believe that there is something. As soon as the word 'friendship', 'love' or even 'happiness' appears, it will be sought for or expected or seen to be lacking - but there is no such thing as these 'things' - they are just words which mislead. Words are very effective at producing a world of things which do not exist.
The only way to be full is to be empty of words and concepts. Be full of what there really is and not full of what isn't - if you are full of what isn't that is the lack - the emptiness will never feel full if it is seeking.
If there is misery then that is what there is - be full on misery - seeking the end of misery is denying what is. 'Misery' will not stay - nothing stays - all is passing. All that arises is flowing and changing but when a name or label (concept) is stuck in it 'misery' and one decides that 'misery' is not wanted - a whole story about how to avoid it happening again happens. But that passing feeling was unique - it can never happen twice - it was an expression of the one. By not naming it or framing it into an event which happened to me or is happening to me(with words telling stories), life is allowed to flow without restriction.

Give in order to get, something quite simple to understand but when someone only takes and those whom have lost start to feel helpless, it creates a disappointing, "us vs them" scenario when "have" and "have not" are pieces of a finite "pie" as opposed to a world of unlimited potential.

Words are very powerful and when we interpret them we can see them in respect to various axioms, if we were to take the two mentioned above, then the word "equality" in one sense is where we all have an equal share of a finite amount, and in the other, it is where we have "gotten" as much as we have "given" to a potentially infinite extent.

Interesting isn't it?

Well said, it's a hard thing to do, being constantly aware of words and labels and their grip on how we perceive ourselves and others.
But realising that, that it's our minds or maybe ego, just creating whole scenarios out of thin air. It's so eye opening and sometimes it feels like a huge weight has been lifted from our shoulders. And the emptiness becomes fullness, or an acceptance that everything's gonna be alright.

What makes you think that? For example, you can think "friendship" and feel joy and love for a friend standing right beside you now. Just because you think of something doesn't mean you lack it. You can be thinking about it to appreciate it.
