Ummm...Hello once again...I wrote this last night before I went off to dreamland...

Refractions

So like a swirl of snowflakes petals fall
Contrast against the stonework of the wall
The wind had caught them playful as they fell
As if to honor them and wish them well

From there behind the window pane I see
Faint echoes of a future that would be
Transparent apples hang before my gaze
They shimmer not from heat but out of phase

Then as an apparition struck in pose
Motion slowed in graceful living prose
My eyes adjust and know that there am I
Refractions join the apples with the sky

I blink and sense that petals full discern
Their place within the cycle as I yearn
To understand my place and there abide
As blossoms harbor apples deep inside

I was sitting gazing out the window the wind was blowing fairly hard and the apple blossoms were beating against the window like fat snowflakes...that was what inspired me to write this down...................................enjoy...

Ummm...Thanks Bro...I think what I was really thinking was...damn...those future apples sure would taste like moms apple pie right about now...

Man...my mom never ceases to amaze me...I went over to her house today and there she was at the age of 84 standing in front of a hot kettle of oil.......making homemade doughnuts...Let me tell you...I thankfully couldn't escape with out a satchel (and belly) full...

Wish I could share but........nah...these babies are all for me...
