Had Kerry been president the war in Iraq would be over

The leaders around the world would have their man in office; the most powerful country in the world would be in effect muzzled.

American troops would be coming home in a few months.

The terrorist would get a welcomed break in their Jihad against the West.

After a few months of RR (rest and recuperation) they would regrouped and resume their war against the Infidels in America, but this time with a vengeance.

Our troops could die on their own land----and not some far off Middle East country like Iraq.

Kerry would have brought the war home, because it would be cheaper than sending our boys overseas.

And kerry would have left the troops there... its too late to pull out coz bush has made Iraq worse than it was before, and to pull out now would condemn their people to rebuilding their country on their own.

If Kerry were elected president, we would still be in Iraq fixing Bush's screwup. Bush has screwed up Iraq so bad that we cant pull out now. If we do, we will make more enemys than if we stayed. However, I believe the actions and responsibilities of our troops would have changed, and I think Kerry would have asked for more help from the international community. Thats something Bush is afraid to do. He cant wallow his pride, and thats why we are still where we are. Further more. If Bush would have stayed course in Afghanistan, OBL would have been caught by now, and we would not be in the mess we are in.

Bush wants this war to continue indefinitly. The longer there is conflict, the easier it is for him and his buddies to make money. Bush knew if we had caught OBL, it would be much harder to convince anyone that OBL and Saddam were connected. Bush played on American emotions to go to war in Iraq. He should have devoted those resources towards Afghanistan and capturing OBL if he really had any intention of winning the war on terrorism.

There have been wars every single day for the past 10,000 years, there will be wars for the next thousand or thousands of years----Bush has nothing to do with it.

There is nothing anyone can do about it----it’s a fact of life, if you don’t like it try putting a stop to it----go kill or try and stop those you disagree with from doing what they want to do.

That is why we have wars----humans don’t agree on much of anything.

BTW Iraq is only one of hundred of wars or skirmishers going on at this very moment----why isn’t the world concerned about them?

The wold will still be spinning and so the "war on terror" and for Iraq the mess will still be there and the results of bush war, will still be there.

Bush started a war against the muslin countries and that is something that can not be stop, the hate the anger and the retaliation of the "muslin radicals are going to keep on going regardless of who the president is"

What’s ironic is that there are millions of free and prosperous Moslems only because of American foreign policy in the world----yet the stupid radicals hate America----attacked America ((9/11) and will do whatever they can to bring down America and the rest of the Western world only to appease the non-existent Allah.

I guess Bush should do what the other leaders of the free world are doing----sit on their asses and let it happen?

The way I see it is Bush wants (or wants us the think he wants) to bring freedom and democracy to everywhere in the world. (A nice but unrealistic thought)

If there were bunch of little Americas around the world, terrorists would have no place to hide. In a free world there would be no corrupt government to sell weapons and aide terrorists.
