I don't like her. So what? I don't care for many in the political spectrum, but she's particularly distasteful. I bet she's got an odor too.

And I'm just calling a spade a spade as well. You made up something to get upset about with her speech. There was absolutely nothing wrong with her speech, so you pulled some stuff out of your behind.

I smell something too, but it isn't Michelle.

I think you're being disingenuous.

The Obama's have been known to call the Tea Party racist, simply because the Tea Party doesn't subscribe to their particular brand of ideology.

They have never said that grass root movements were a good thing.

As a matter of fact, I don't believe they have ever said anything positive about any grassroot political movement that wasn't of their own ideology.

And there are those of the tea party who have been known to call the Obama's racist.

Obama is all about grass roots movements. It helped to get him elected.

Nobody likes ideologies that aren't their own. Do you? With all the hatred and vitriol you spew towards progressives, I think not.

I have to question the validity of this statement. Could you provide some sort of link to provide proof of such a claim? I know that he did say that race may be a "key component" of the TP movement, but that is far from being false.

I was at the TP rallies and witnessed the hatred many of the TP'ers had for a black president. It is fact that there was a racial element that ran through the TP.

They have never said that grass root movements were a good thing.

That's absurd. Obama relied heavily on the GR movement to get elected and uses such groups to push issues like minimum wage increases and healthcare issues.

Why would he praise a grass-roots movement that is contrary to his ideology? If you were against abortion, would you praise Planned Parenthood for helping keep STD rates low? Of course not.

I don;t see anything damning in this statement as it only highlighted typical political positioning.

But I will never deny a progressive to speak.

On the contrary.

The more they speak, the better off everyone else sounds.

I think everyone should be free to speak up and speak out.

Even those ideologies that I disagree with.

I would encourage everyone REGARDLESS of their political ideology to speak out.

But then again, I'm not a politician.

Now you've gone off the deep end. Are you drinking? Who has denied someone the right to speak?

It was a speech to college grads inspiring further riot. Considering the audience and potential media reach the subliminals needed to be outspoken enough for maximum impact.

Do you deny she chose those words specifically? Or do you see her as imminently pure and innocent?

What's worse in your book, lame or gullible?

Apologies.

I was under the impression that you were aware of "free speech" zones.

Never mind then.

No it was not. Vote. Volunteer. Run for office. All non-violent ways of instigating change. They apply to everyone. Not just blacks. Not just whites. Everyone.

That's what 'you' want to hear. The message is clear when your head is located above the surface of the Earth.

You may have the last word now (since I took the first).

So the Obama's invented free speech zones? So progressives are the only group to use free speech zones? Republicans have never used free speech zones? Conservatives have never used free speech zones? The Supreme Court had nothing to do with ruling on free speech zones?

I think someone needs a history lesson on free speech zones.

As much as you might claim them to be, the words "vote", "volunteer" and "run for office" aren't code words for "violently riot and kill a bunch of white people".

Oh good!

You are familiar with them.

Okay now a really tough question.

Who is currently president?

Answer me this. Do you think if your favorite tea party candidate were to become president, we wouldn't have free speech zones any more? Do you really think who's president has any affect on free speech zones?

Yes, I do. You only think presidents are helpless puppets because Obama is inept and you want to make excuses.

Of course, that is just my opinion.

Good thing I can still express it, isn't it?

**AHEM**

We are beginning to drift perilously close to personality conflicts...

Shall we get back onto the topic of Michelle Obama's graduation speech...

Thanks so much.

I agree with her, the new grads will reshape our world, and this desperately needs to be done.

It's almost like some of you guys think Michelle Obama and her Husband are in on some socialist conspiracy to destroy the constitution and take all our guns away and ....Oh...wait...you really do. LOL

Yes, you can express your opinion about Obama being inept, and wait, who was it that is president right now? Oh that's right - it's Obama. The guy who is supposedly taking away your right to speak your opinion. And yet, here you are, speaking your opinion.
