Ginsburg....I'll put that one in the pile.

We'd probably end up calling it Gin or Ginny though.

Still not bad.

It's a keeper. Thanks

That is so funny!
My S.O. had a speech issue when he was younger and his family has told the stories over and over about
how he would say come here "kittly, kittly".

Kittly Cat-K.C.

Kittly is actually kind of cute for a name.

****added to the list

My granddaughter was at preschool and she told the teacher about my mother's cat. The teacher asked her what's the cats name?

Her reply was "damn cat". Rotf ( true story)

My mom had a cat that looked like that, her name was Katrina. Or feel free to consider the names of my current cats, Moxy and Chloe.

How about 'You' and in 'hey You' since you can't agree on anything.

Personally, with new cats, I always give it time and a name just emerges. Even with a formal name, a nickname that is used all the time will happen.

My Bently (named for the 45 degree bend in his tail) became fuzzy butt, because as he grew his fur got longer and longer and now it's everywhere. He doesn't answer to his real name - only fuzzy - with what ever you happen to attach to it at the time.

Queenie is cute, too. I remember Bijou being the most affectionate cat, he was from Tory's first litter. So smart, he would wait until I went to bed. Then jump on the bed and wait until I lifted the cover. I swear, he would then lay on his side, head on the pillow and expect me to put the cover back.
